made a bubble cloner and tried it a couple times, clones just wilted, laid down and looked dead. Waited 4 or 5 days to see if they'd stand back up but they didn't so I tossed them. Went back to rockwool. 100% success rate with rockwool-even though I've never used a rooting hormone or heating mat. I've had those lay down on me before too, but always perked back up within a day or two. I'd say if it lays down for more than 3 days it's dead, but that's just me.

ahh i see. that suckss. im gonna make a bubble cloner, i see a lot of people get great results with them but i guess it's hit an dmiss. worth a try though

Here is my personal experience;
I've been having some cloning issues. I just had a weird batch. They all took 3-4 weeks to show roots but when I cloned this same genetics a few months ago they took 13-14 days. I think I let them dry out too much in the first few days as I didn't have a well sealed dome system. I also think the mothers were a bit stressed before I took the cuttings. By the time they showed roots the growing top was in rough shape. It took awhile but they almost all pulled through and now are experiencing new rapid growth.
