Yeah I know they will grow a bit more once I flower, the lights can be raised or lowered as needed. No t5 does not penetrate as well as HPS but I have the side lighting to help out with that. I am looking into a 400w HPS light since I want to swap out my 24" light for another 36" and need to buy flowering bulbs, the cost of all that will be just about as much as a HPS light but I will need to ralk with my wife about that first and convince her. I still need to trim up the lower parts of the plants so they dont grow buds down low so yeah need to train them a bit more so I only get buds on the tops. But I may just see what the T5s will do I have seen some nice grows with T5. I have 300 watts of HO T5 in the closet. Stretching was no an issue I have kept the lights right at the tops of the plants. In fact 2 plants have grown up into the bulbs and I need to move them up a few inches again. They do look like thay are stretching but that is because I stopped topping them about 2 weeks ago so the top growth is straight up and no branching. I am still learning how to trim and train my plants. SCROG may be very useful if I stick with the T5 lighting, but it is a little late for that now I think. .
