Highgrade Seeds a Rip Off

Do not order from Highgrade seeds! After months of excuses and promises, all I've received are those same excuses and promises. Have spoken with several who also have been burned in recent months. Consider yourselves warned guys!
 
Thanks. I always go with Herbies Head Shop, because they have the fastest delivery, the best genetics, and awesome freebies. And they never disappoint.
 
It would help to know which Highgrade Seeds you speak of, there are two using that name on the net.
www.highgrade-seeds.com is a grower/reseller, I have dealt with them without any problems in the past. They have some pretty neat plants.

www.highgradeseeds.com is actually Amsterdam Seed Co. I have no experience with them but I haven't heard much good about them from anyone but themselves.
 
I've purchased from highgrade-seeds.com and got great service and top quality beans! Which one did you go with??
 
i have to agree with LadyoftheGreen. i purchased a ton of seed packs back in 2009 from highgrade-seeds.com and never had an issue. i went ahead and contacted highgrade himself via email in early december of 2012, had good communication back and forth for a few days, so i sent over $200 for some new packs on 12/14/12. it's now januaray 8th and i havent gotten anything in the mail OR heard from him at all. he isn't responding to emails or anything and i'm pretty pissed that i pissed away all that money.

does anyone else have any suggestions on where i can order from that delivers to the states? i'm interested in TGA seeds specifically, but i don't want to get screwed over again. thanks everyone.

looks like herbies is the way to go. i'll go ahead and file my claim and hopefully get money refunded from HGS and then order from herbies. thanks again.

I think you owe the real Highgrade seeds your business. They have an excellent reputation. They're being ripped off by this Amsterdam Seed Company posing as them. This company does the exact same thing to PeakseedsBC with peakseeds.com. Many more on top of that. Scumbags!!!!!
 
Yeah they've never done wrong by me but if this is what they're doing now i dont want to risk it.

Ladyofthegreen- have you tried getting on the high grade forums and asking about your issues? From what ive seen the owner is on there all the time and is always happy to sort things out!
 
I've been on the forum and have posted my complaints. As I stated originally I've talked to the owner several times and still nothing. Also, as I stated earlier I'm not the only one who's had this happen recently. HIGHGRADE SEEDS IS A RIP OFF!

There are still problems at highgrade seeds,seems that back in nov-dec 2012 highgrade had a death in the family and things have been crappy ever since,late orders,orders not showing at all,bad communications and so on,would avoid untill he makes an appearance back in the highgrade forums and customers are getting happy again,like their genetics but not willing to chance my spring order not arriving in time for this years outdoor show,here I come mandala,incase folks don't know mandala now carries alot of different seed banks
 
It is now 6 mo.later. Death in the family ? Recently HGS sent info to a administrator of hgs.and claimed that the head dude was in the hosp but recovered ,and wanted all to know that he was swamped with all the orders that he did not fulfill and that he was taking care of all of them.BULL that was approx. 2 mo ago. the forum is slowed down to a small amt.of posts not even close of what it used to be .. Too many stories that change like the weather...hey if you run a business,and this is a International one at that. you have got to keep it going 100%. no excuses FAIL SAFE...HELLO ,BACK UP PLAN ? NO CANT DO THAT IF THEY WANT TO STEAL YOU MONEY.can u imagine say a parts company on the net. doing the same thing,not a chance.they flew the coop...u watch
