okie dokie...I run 12- 100 watt equivilent CFLsI average a lil under 1/4 oz per plant..run 4 plants a week SOG style....almost 4 oz a month
Bro, that's pretty sweet! Sounds like you got a decent little system here.... Can you post detail pics of your set up?

Why not do two lst plants. Must take a while to water all those things.

7 grams a plant prolly equate to a 1 week veg from clone, right? Twelve 100 what fluorescent equivlant mean about 360 watts total.... So, after initial couple months startup, u r getting 4 ounces a month from 360 watts... Doesnt sound too bad.

I hate to see this thread die cause it just kinda seems underrated.
I mean sure, what's going on here isn't glamorous but it seems to me that 4ozs a month from less than 400 watts of light is pretty decent. Especially if factors like lower electricity, lower soil/nutrient needs, easier drying/curing/trimming, lower heat, and prolly lower humidity. At 4ozs a month, one is looking at about 12ozs in 3 months.... Sounds like an decent average yield to me.
If I were to do this with larger plants in soil, we are probably looking at 2.5-3 months.... 6 larger plants yielding 2 ozs per plant and lets say a 600watt light would be needed due to the canopy of plants.
So if this could be tweaked just a little to get, say, 1.5ozs week from 400 watts, then we are like damn! That would be 18ozs in 3 months from 400watts... That's damn respectable!!!!!

How do you do your cloning? Do you keep a mother? I would assume you would have to use a quite large mother. But enlighten me. I'm getting started and I'm looking for a perpetual way and I just decided against a modular scrog because I'm only allowed 1 tent (wife) I have a secret Jardan dr90t it has a 3' x 3' x 2' (tall) and then I have a 3' x 3' x 6' (tall) portion to it. I was hoping for a way I could yield fresh buds frequently. You seem to have it down to a science so I was hoping that you could share a bit with me! I'm growing with a 600 in that tent so yea...

...Ok...lots of questions....why not lst a couple of them?....wanted sea of green style perpetual....too big a plant shades other plants light....I shoot for single cola plants....cant tell you how easy the trimming is on single cola plants. next.....watering.....I put 9 cans in a bucket...fill bucket with water or nutes....waters from bottom up through lots of drain holes....this totally saturates soil, as well as pushes out bad air......next...soil...due to watering technique....I add 1/3 more perlite to FF ocean forest soil...allows water or nutes to move through soil easier, plus retains moisture....so water twice a week....next ....clones.....clones hate me from the start so I bought a daisy 8 site aerocloner...by puting more than one clone per site...I can clone up to 24 at a time. most make it ...some dont...still get plenty of clones....keep cloner under a t5, 24 hrs a day, along with 3 mothers and any clones waitin for their turn to flower....go from roots on clone to can to flower within a week or 2. Ive flowered out my moms and used tops of clones for next set of clones before...but easier to start new moms as needed....... Ok..so that should answear some questions....I should say...that this is not entirly my idea.....theres alot of info out there on the internet....and most of its good. Experimentation is the best way to learn. When I started...people said you couldnt grow big, solid nugs with CFL. I tried it, it worked. People said try a UVB light ...tried it this year...seems to boost amount of trikes.
