Be careful that starter looks too wet. They can easily get root rot at this stage

I would blot that excess water and use an eye dropper until you get a couple leaf sets

My rapid rooters always look that wet... They're unique, in that they are extremely porous. Even when soaked there are huge holes where air can easily get at the roots. In most mediums I'd be wary of root rot, but not in those Rapid rooters! :D

FYI: If you return your overpriced lights to IndaGro, even 100% unopened, they will still charge you a 25% return fee.

So the best thing to do is to avoid buying any IndaGro lights at all!
 
Plus, restocking fees are supposed to apply when the product is opened for retesting. The package was never opened.

This company will fail in a few years. Basically it cost me 232$ to have a 200W light shipped from California to NY then NY to California.

He offered to take the 25% fee and turn it into credits for a future purchase, but when he told me his pontoons were going to sell for 745$ I just lol'd in his face. He wants 1500$ for a 400 watts light with half the PAR emission of a LED light of same power that costs 200$ less?

What kind of morons are going to buy these lights?

(morons like me who don't educate themselves properly before buying lights and get taken advantage of by crooks)
 
You're no moron. Just protest any restocking fee charges to the cc company and you'll get your money back. Whenever you buy something the seller must return charges clearly spelled out or they can't charge it. The cc company won't let them get away with it. But as far you not opening the box you're incorrect on whether or not your having opened it would warrant a restocking charge. Most people, me included, would want to know if I'm buying something that was returned from one coast to the other that the unit was checked out before it was sold as new to another buyer. You should get the 25% back though if it's not on their site somewhere.

What I'd be curious to find out is how you got hit with $232 in charges. They list the 200 at $610 on their site so that would only be $152.00 in back charges.

They charged me 50$ FedEx freight (even though it cost them $31.27... I called FedEx). If you add the 30$ it cost me to to ship it back to them.... tadaa. I did say "it cost me" ;)

The 25% was buried somewhere on the site according to the CEO of IndaGro whom I spoke to on the phone. I did find it after looking for the fine prints.

In the end I'm not too angry about it because it's a lesson learned and I'm pretty sure they'll go out of business very soon so while I was made a fool of, I'll be the one laughing in the end.
 
Freight I can understand not getting back in both directions. Even a bit of markup to get it to FedEx is not unusual. But I looked and did not see the restocking fee's. Where did you find it? It can't be fine print or you'll still get your money back.

When I realized the awful purchase I had made before I even received it. I bought it based on Spliff's thread, but before I knew enough about light to understand how to choose them. A 200W light that barely emits 100 uMoles of PAR at 18"??? For 660$? Ridiculous.

Once I knew that I got lights that offered a MUCH better PAR/watt and PAR/dollar ratio.
 
Well you can fight for voiding that changes good luck (it's the first time I hear about 25% return fees? Not even the legendary HydroGrowLed)
