Friend Requests.......Rejected

Am i an asshole for rejecting nearly every friend request on here. I think i have a couple on my friends list. Do you guys treat riu like facebook?

i'm odd when it comes to friends requests on here.. some days, i'm like eff it, and will accept any that someone sends me, other days, i'm like, i don't know this cat, i'm not accepting his friend request...

i guess it depends on how i'm feeling that day as to whether or not i'll accept it, unless of course it's someone i'm actually friends with.. idk why someone i don't even know sends a request though..

Agree with racerboy ... I'll accept friend requests from folks I know and have no reason to dislike. But strangers generally get rejected.
I don't know what the purpose of "friending" is. It doesn't seem to change my relation with/to the other person. cn

I like the notifications on my profile page that show me the posts from my "friends" as that shows me where the action is. I have and will send friend requests to the people that offer good advice or offer a good amount of entertainment value. I'm not looking for a real life friend here because I don't need 'em... I don't like most people in real life...

i usually just accept them to make the notification go away. i don't know most of the people on my friend list and i've never initiated a friend request. i think a lot of people use the friend list as a sort of bookmark to find people who gave certain advice or have similar grow setups and whatnot. i don't really see what the harm is in accepting the requests. someone can stalk me just as easily without being on the list. i'm guessing it's the paranoia of being "associated with" certain people if a court thing happened or something. i don't really think about it too much.
