Know of any ways to drop temps without drilling? lol I'm 4 weeks into flower and want the temps to drop 7 or 8 degrees. Ideas? I do live in a state where its getting below zero at night.
I was able to drop my temps just by adding a fan at the top of my grow area and one on the floor running 24 hrs. It dropped my temps at least 5-10 degrees. But i guess it depends on the size of grow area you are in

It's funny seeing plants like this that's had almost all laves chopped off. There's a reason the leaves yellow during flower. It always starts on the largest leaves which is why you shouldn't trim unless absolutely necessary. You're making your plant go to the reserves which could be cause for a slower flowering. Buds look good though.

Hi, did u have any troubles with flowering? Did it auto flower or you had to turn 12/12 for a couple of days?

Great plant btw :)

Already got two going in my grow room, one above and one below.. I guess I could try adding one more

Pistils don't tell the whole story.
Strains will vary dramatically and even though the pistils arn't red and full on receeded.. that bud is near enough done, if it were me i would have left it a few more days to be sure tho
you will see the majority of those hairs turn orange / red in the drying process i can gauruntee.
i agree with the first line, but not the rest..
while i don't simply only look at the pistils to determine when to chop, i also don't only look at the trics, and i've yet to see a plant that was any where, 2 weeks or so, near finished that still has lots of white, unreceded hairs on it..

hairs receded, calyxs swollen, tric color and over all look of the plant are some of the things i look for before chopping..

Funny, :) I ment as signs on the plant or recomended time. Mine sprouted on the 11th of January. They are at the 5th node. 6 is just starting.
i like to wait to flip till i see one of two things, if not both.. the first is uneven nodes.. as an mj plant matures, it will start to put out uneven nodes.. this is a sign it's reaching sexual maturity and is ready to be flowered..
the second thing i look for is preflowers.. same as above, preflowers are another sign of sexual maturity, and means the plant is ready to be flowered...

of course you can flower earlier, but the same as people, who is better apt at having kids, a 13 year old girl, or a 22 year old women?

Hi Racer,
I have no intent to rush it. I just don't want it not to flower and die becouse of her fixed life span. I have read that someone got auto bubble from nirvana. They didn;t autoflower and now, 3 year later, he is still taking clones from it :| Heck if I can understand anything anymore :)) Is it possible for an auto strain to live that long if it doesn't autoflower?

regular non auto, photoperiod plants, although annuals in nature, meaning they die at the end of one season, can live for an indefinite period if they're left in a veg mode, meaning they receive about 18 hours or more of light per day..

an auto that doesn't auto flower sounds to me like the ruderalis gene that makes them auto flower, didn't work or wasn't present in the plants, so they're going to act more like a regular photo-period plant and not an auto..

i've heard that nirvana had issues with their autos not auto-ing when they first put them out as well.. i had thought they pulled a bunch of them, but i don't really follow nirvana too much tbh..

They've been fox tailing for a while...trjchs are all cloudy w abt 10%amber...the plant wasn't looking so hot so one day I Gabve it a shot of Epsom salts....3days later the pistils exploded...and never stopped...they're are the only thing on this plant saying it wasn't ready....everything else screamed ready...trust me I have no reason to chop early... I chop at all cloudy usually...let the amber come on this one because of pistil growth... finally SD enuf is enuf
