Hey all Just wanted to start off by saying thanks all to the others who helped me get started with soil, my lights and transplanting my clones!!! All very hard steps! I wouldnt be here if it wasnt for you guys! Thanks!! This will be my Journal of my first ever grow op. I take any advice i just ask no bashing and please no fights with other people on my thread going back and forth back and forth, thats all!! (thanks!!!) bongsmilie


bongsmilie So Day 1 is here for my FIRST EVER GROW OP and my 4 clones (via Harborside ) of Girl Scout Cookies start there life!

My Set UP: 2x240W Blackstar LED's 6x2x6 Closet Wrapped in Mylar
Strain : Girl Scout Cookies
Bucket Size : 1gal
Soil : Fox Farm Ocean Forest

So when i transplanted (thanks to all who helped me) i gouged each one with about 3/4 of a gal in each one and they were draining all right, each drain pan by the time i was done had a good amount of water in it. I let them sit for about 10 mins and i threw them under the lights! (pic attached) (its what im supposed to do right?) So for this first month its going to be 24's non-stop light correct? and with this soil i dont need any nutes for a month right? I'll be posting non stop about how things are going and of corse all of my questions for you guys!!! :twisted:

no nutes needed with FFOF for first month?

for some reason i cant edit.... also how does the space between plants and lights look? they look to me around 14-17" away

I'll be keeping my eye on this, I want to see how the blackstars are. I was looking into area 51 LEDs. I went with HIDs though. Want to get comfortable growing with HIDs before I even think about LEDs.
I'm on my 1st grow also, my girls are less then a month old since they 1st sprouted. I'm running my lights at 24/0 and transplanted into ff ocean forest jan20 and my plants have exploded with growth since I transplanted. Good luck bro!

I'm not in Cali so it would be a challenge for me getting a hold of some other than finding seeds online.

But best of luck with you're grow, I'll keep my eye on your posts.

Shit mine are about 16" away and im having trouble getting them closer! i dont know what to use to either have the plants sit higher or to get the lights to sit lower! Right now there hanging from a old wire hanger turned side ways with the hanging kit that came with the lights, any ideas?

So i just put a old box under each one to make them sit a little higher, i would say the distance from light to plant now is about 10-12". Should i be good?

So the plants are looking good after 24hrs of light! looking like 2 of them are getting some great growth! and 2 others are very slow... hmm, also i noticed yesterday when i finally was transplanting and all that there was some yellowing and blackening on the tips of some of the leaves (pics attached) and some are very bad! im kinda pissed!!! :evil: i was researching more around RIU and believe it to be calcium deficiency? will it get some in the FFOF?? do i cut them off? or.... check out my pics... other than the yelllowing on the tips and some bad yellow black leaves , the plants look good! And surprsingly the one with the really bad two leaves next to each other (the last ones) is the one thats getting the best growth... any who, should i just leave the leafs be? or cut them? or how do they look? help! Thanks

they are a clone only strain, should be a good gene pool if you can make it work.

you better make it work, it came with roots :p make sure youre not over watering

girl scout cookies is hard to get as a seed. you can only get it in clone form.

the clones were rooted for you, and not just cuttings, you better not mess it up.

i know this i didnt ask you if i had a chance of messing up i was asking about my leafs not asking you anything thats for shure
