hey RIU.
this is my first grow with legit seeds. i have exodus cheese which is taking off, auto somango which was planted after the first 2 and catching up already. Then theres the Mandala seeds chill-om. its been sooo slow i dont know what to do. im thinking its the FFOF too strong for her because shes pale green. PH of soil is 6.6 last time i watered and today is watering day after pictures.
i have 225, 5000-6500k actual watts and 84 2700k actual watts. and more to add later.

so please if you know what it could be comment! idk what to do! thanks

whats your room temp autos are adapted for cooler temps plus autos have a short life span they have to go fast not sure the third looks paler to me and you said its the cheese one the first one looks ok but smaller not sure about the strain maybe more sativa in one compare to the other room should be about 76 degrees hope this helps

ez it is perlite, its 70% FFOF and 30% perlite and from what ive read here thats completely fine to grow in. my room temps do get a little warm at like 83 max but thats right under lights. RH is always above 30%. the cheese and chill popped 1/27, the somango popped 2/1.

The first pic is the problem plant. its a 3rd the size of the cheese and half the size of the somango and definitely way more pale than the others despite what the picture looks like.

i watered today and the ph was a little low for all of them at 6.2 so i adjusted till 6.5.
help much appreciated.

Seems like your trying to over care for them, its probably just a lil runt. Ive germinated 20 seeds of the same strain bought at the same time before, and they all varied in size and grew different. The seedling looks great, let it grow~.

M growing auto somango too. Mine broke ground on 8/2.
Would like to follow ur grow. I think u need to give ur plants a little time and also keep the temps in control.

:)
good luck.

I have never used FFOF but I know it has nutes in it.

If I were you I would start seedlings in a peat mix with no nutes for at least the first week of their lives.

That is something to do next grow.

Keep an eye on the purple.

Yes pretty much, seedlings basically come equipped with enough nutes stored in the cotyledon to keep em going for first couple weeks.

Thanks guys! that all makes sense. next grow i will defiantly start in something different, peat moss or maybe FF light warrior. ive heard great things about that medium for starting seeds. i agree im prolly smothering them with love i need to lay off lol.

Also another question. can i add a little domolite lime to even out my ph? i feel like having to adjust every time i water might stress the girls out.

if you wanna watch my grow im about to update my journal peeps! thanks for the help RIU!

youre soil will buffer your water what does the water test at before you mess with it, see what it comes out the bottom of the pot at

you said earlier that your soil was 6.6???? if your putting 7.0 water through and it's comming out 6.1 where did 6.6 come from. ffof seems like a lot of trouble whenever someone mention it. but yea your soil is buffering your water just not in a good way it sounds. I never check my ph and things work out just fine
