I think everyone in LA should go outside and jump up and down and then maybe LA will break off and float into the ocean and we can turn it into a penal colony like in the Kurt Russell vehicle Escape from LA. I think that would solve the problem of world hunger and police corruption and murderings.

I wouldn't last a week down there. I had to be there back in the service days but that was SD and Long Beach.

This fucker was a murderer......I hope they set the fire......he was shooting hundreds of rounds at them before the fire....hundreds of automatic fire....so burning the place to get him out wouldnt have been any different then the cops shooting him to death. Dorner could have easily surrendered and come out. He decided not to....A murderer is dead....who cares....

Can you provide some pics of the police cars with bullet holes? In ALL of the videos I have seen it was the police doing all of the shooting. If Dorner was firing "hundreds of rounds...automatic fire", the police would have been a little more concerned for their safety and been more concealed. I doubt they would have walked up to the cabin to douse it with gas. Dorner ran into the cabin after crashing the stolen truck. On foot, I doubt he was carrying fully auto weapons with hundreds of rounds of ammo. The family that owns the cabin said there were no weapons and no ammo in the cabin. They knew he had no way of knowing he would be in there, thus no way of staging a cache of weapons.

He was running for his life, as the police were shooting anyone on site that they even thought might be him (see my prior link showing the LAPD shooting 2 women delivering newspapers, with no warning, no cause). Had he come out, naked with his hands up, they would have shot him a hundred times. THAT is my point here. I am all for the police defending themselves. I am ALL against them flat out murdering someone because he wants to tell the world about police corruption.

Quit making him the victim...The people HE murdered are victims......Quit defending a worthless piece of scum....Your better than that clay... Not saying the cops werent in the wrong...but Dorner knew he was dying that day...

And because the police are corrupt, that somehow constitutes it being ok that he MURDERED INNOCENT people...

Uh, is THIS a good example of "straw man"?

I am not defending Dorner, he IS a murderer, just like the cops that killed him.

He did send something to CNN, and they promptly sent it to the LAPD. Do I need to explain that that is like a chicken complaining the the rancher that the fox is trying to eat him, so the rancher delivers the chicken to the fox to air his complaint?

Navy, may I ask why it doesn't bother you, of all people, that the police completely disregarded civil and constitutional rights, in the flat out killing of this man? Don't get me wrong, I am all for killing killers, but for Christ's sake make it look like it was done in self defense, and not just a posse of misfits trying to collect the reward on a "wanted DEAD or alive" poster. Are you seriously ok with the police deciding when it is ok to disregard due process? If so, what, or who, is next?

Why are so many people coming into this thread to defend the police when they don't even know half the facts?
Dude seriously. He sent it and commited his crimes right after... He didnt go to the press and say i have proof that police are corrupt. He mailed a package right before he decided to take lives, hes a coward, and from the sounds of it, hes no better than the cops he said were corrupt. Sending a package in the mail instead of going directly to the media was part of his plan the whole time.

And he was fired in 2007. He had 6 years to alert people. He was dishonorably discharged from the Navy days before committing his crimes.. He was a coward. If the military saw that and kicked his ass out then obviously this guy is nothing but a piece of shit.

police come into my life from time to time and fuck me, for driving on a suspended or no insurance, take my car, put me in jail with scumbags for a warrant for driving on suspended fta, bullshit, i do come across cool cops but id say if you are willing to put on a uniform and maybe kill innocent people for bullshit then i dont know, I am not a judge or god or even a pillar of the community but i feel like I know whats right and wrong and cops seem to me to do more wrong than right, more bad than good overall, people are starting to feel i think that many cops are criminals in uniform with license to kill and go on paid administrative leave while they figure out how best to spin a not guilty verdict. Cops are wannabe gangstas if u ask me
