Probably like you I have had to trial and error things with growing, even after doing much research and reading. Heat was an issue for me even with a tent and a 440 CFM fan, as the amount of CFL's I was running just generated to much heat. Going HID is what I should have done in the beginning with the cool tube I have now no heat issues. I also run my fan 24 hrs a day to help keep humidity down. But overall your space is well thought out and looks like you utilze it very well.

Freebies are good but I needed 100+. I would have looked crazy, rooting through bins for them.
Im sure budget water can be found for 20 cents for a 2L bottle. When it comes to wrapping them, its a lot easier full, than empty. ... but its all up to the individual.
Water bottles mean you don't have to rinse them out too.

If you buy water bottles I wouldn't waste the water. I'd buy some type of res at least to use on your plants. If you don't have room then that's another thing. lol.

Its not steel but is fire rated. It had one lock, I added another because the door already had been cut for it.
The crawl space was just filled with builders rubble and dust (shoddy work). I cleared out a ton or two or crap. ... I've recently just excavated a 'Veg Chamber' out of the old foundations of the building that stood before. My fathers a builder so I knew it wasn't damaging anything.
