I tried the Girl Scout Cookies by Life is Good about 8 months ago. Smooth and tasty but still doesn't hit as hard as an OG. I can see why it won though. He sells the cut for $500. I got my GSC from a friend.


OMG if anyone didn't like the Cup this year, last year was a joke. I just wish they had a big smoke lounge. I mean they have a few couches and chairs here and there but nothing huge.

I sampled a few entries. All 3 of buds and roses flower entries and nikka T's second place winning solventless wax. A lot of people who stopped by our booth were able to try samples of RD flower and extracts grown and made by my friends and I. A few got to test kyle's ghost train #1 and rare darkness he gave us. I didn't see anyone walk away unhappy. I gave away about 3/4 of an oz. of hillbilly armor flowers and a few grams of shatter for free.

Do you need a judges pass to sample entries?

No, some of the booths that had entries were giving them out or offering them for a donation. There are no judges passes at the medical cups. The judges are just high times people. The regular cup is where you can judge.

Indeed, that's the only reason I was there, cause moonshine was repping rare dankness in Spain, so I had to fill in on the grow knowledge side for the company. I hope I did okay. I'm sure as hell no moonshine.

I grew up in Spain I moved to Cali a couple of years ago. At you're booth I have some vague memories of speaking about the "vale vale". I have friends posting pics of Spannabis I've never seen another cannabis convention that big!

Btw, what's the over under on the amount of hash oil consumed, or the amount of dabs done in that parking lot last weekend? Like 5lbs? 300,000 dabs? Shit was crazy.

I wish I knew someone from High Times. The event was great but it really needed a big smoke lounge! You know a tent with chairs and couches that you could actually sit down, hang out and smoke. No one really had anywhere to sit and relax but the vendors. Just one big smoke lounge is all that is missing!

Knowing the vendors is better. They have the diggs. It was funny Saturday morning driving in seeing nice ass couches strapped into truck beds as all of us vendors were loading in to set up. RD is small time still, we had 2 workers, half a booth and 2 chairs that got used very rarely.

I went to the medical cup for two main reasons, seeds and new glass. I ended up dropping a bit more money then I first planned but got some cool shit.

I stopped by the Cali Connection booth first and ended up buying a pack of Larry OG and they hooked me up with some mix pack seeds with my purchase. They had and endless supply of free stickers, posters and a large crowd gathering for monster dabs. Swerve was there but never really spoke with anyone other then his own crew. Seeds were $60 a pack

Next I went to the Rare dankness booth and met Mrs Rare Dankness and got a pack of Scotts OG. They were really cool and answered all my questions. Only $60 a pack

The next stop was with the TGA Subcool booth. I waited around and a little bit but got the chance to talk with Sub and ask him some grow questions. I also showed him some of my Chernobyl flower and ice wax that I made. My buddy bought a pack of seeds and got a free joint. I ended up getting a nice Vortex nug from one of the TGA staffers. Really cool booth - $40 5 seeds $75 10 seed

I hope they figure out a way to provide a shaded area in the medicating area or find a location with a grass area we can lay out in. I didn't see any seating designated for the attendees, the only seating was what the vendors brought in for themselves. You are basically corralled into a gated parking lot setting with vendor booths and lots of music and half naked promo/strippers offering free dabs and bong loads. Overall it was fun, but they need a shaded area so us gingers don't melt away

Also, I was really hoping that a few more glass vendors would have made it out to the cup but I was still able to get a few cool pieces.

I went Sunday and never saw Subcool. I saw Swerve there but I didn't visit the Cali Connection booth after buying 3 packs of seeds last year and having nothing but problems with all of them. It was LOL seeing his pasty toddler body.
