Hermie in development?

hello all,

this is my first grow, and from what I can tell I believe these are going to fuck my whole plant up. At first, I was debating on whether to just let it grow out regardless, but from reading that inbred plants still produce hermie seeds, Id rather chop earlier and wipe out having to overly-sanitize the space of pollen.

A brief of the scenario :

  • BAGSEED.
  • soil / cfl
  • began flowering at day 49 from seed (vegged from 24-0, 20-4, 18-6, eventually decremented to 12-12)
  • Showed signs of female sex at day 5 flowering.
  • Around Day 10 flowering, began noticing suspected male flowers.
  • pictures are from day 64, day 15 flowering.

My thoughts are that I was destined for failure from the gate, because of the genetics..

If you cut her down, you should have thought twice. First, is that your only plant in the grow? Even if you have more than 1 plant, you can grow Hermaphrodites to maturity with killer results. You just have to be proactive in removing the balls/nanners until the plant is finished. I've grown several Herms to maturity and the potency was/is beyond good! Hermaphrodites are also good experience for new growers. I started a complete Thread dealing with this exact subject.

Uh... First I said nothing about cutting the whole plant down I was referring to the MALE flower on the plant. Secondly you should think before you talk!

Show everyone where you said that. Again, you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. You said to get rid of the Hermaphrodite; that means to cut the fucking plant down. If you keep a Herm, then you should advise the person involved to remove the ball/nanners.

to clear up both of your aggressions:
1. break down sum medicine
2. load smoking device & proceed to smokeith
3. calm down

the grow is 1 plant, and no, i havent cut down the entire thing. i am going shoot by shoot, from the base of it, to elminate any sacks i see. from the smell of it, its a desired strain, so i am going to continue struggling with male development until harvest. Again, I thank everyone for their comments and suggestions. I will definitely look into your grow, and thanks for the heads up!

No aggression here. This old Marine just uses the f-word as an adjective. Also, there's a ton of bullshit advice on here from people who won't do serious research, and have no experience on certain grow issues. I've grown 9 Hermaphrodites to maturity in the last 2 years (3 total grows), so I'm familiar with this Strain in MJ.

I said get rid of the fucking hermie which any person that knows anything about MJ would never take that as cut the whole fucking plant down. Who cuts whole fucking plants down because of a few HERMIES you fucking cut them off as they unless you have shit tons of plants so if anyone took that as cut the whole plant down your the real idiot.

Again, you're full of shit. Have you ever grown a Hermaphrodite to maturity?
