I agree with most of what you say, but I do not agree with your last sentence. Maybe 100 years ago this would have been true, but with todays military, I highly doubt that Skeeter in Kentucky is going to overthrow the US military (think drones, bombs, tanks, etc) with his shotgun.

Oh of course not, but we can and should have access to AR-15 and some other playing field leveling devices. now the brits didn't think that hillbillys and injuns could do much with huntin' rifles neither but we did. it's not the weapon it's the will. A fed up pissed off guy on his own land is a force. don't underestimate it.

So true brother! Turn off the lights and the last thing this country will be concerned about is the self sufficient and well armed "Skeeter in Kentucky". Imagine the millions of vegetarian liberals killing each other over the last remaining blades of grass as they starve to death in NY & LA. To even consider that some leftist government could fight a war with those whom established this nation at the same time they provide for those whom they have taught not to provide for themselves is nothing less than absurd. This is where the "God" like story line fed to a people by it's government ends and the unknown atrocities of reality begin. Not a new story in the history of man, just one we repeatedly forget
