What's a respectable harvest weigh?

What is a respectable amount & what is a exceptional amount for one plant? Here are the the details:
6 weeks veg. from a 6" clone (indica dom.)
1000 watt hps
DWC, or your preferred medium

Guess I should have Highlighted ONE PLANT...... not saying there is only one plant under the 1000w, just breaking it down to one plant at a time.bongsmilie

should be able to get 4-8 oz per plant from DWC or 2-4 from Organic soil. with 4 plants.

one plant with one light in a hydro system can yeaild over a pound

That is just plain wrong. A more accurate answer would be that asking how much can a plant yield is like saying how much it will rain next month. There are a lot of variables that can affect yield, from soil and nutrients used, to strain grown and lights. Even climate can affect your yield. Simply too much to be able to give you an accurate number. Sure, the guy above me said 4-8oz from DWC but it could easily be half or double that much.

Ok, if you mess the DWC up you could possible get no weed at all. I was under the impression that you were looking for "respectable harvest weigh"

so yes if you Fuck it up you wont get nothing at all.

but i would say a "respectable harvest weight" would be 1 pound. and a " exceptional amout would be 2 pounds

but yes if you forget to take your timer off 18/6 you wont get any buds.
if you forget to turn the light on, you will not get any buds.

if you dump gasilne on your plants you will not get any buds.

if you dont water your plants, you will not get any buds,

If you let your room get 150 degreses you will not get any buds.

if your house burns down you will not get any bud.

if some one steals your buds, you will not get any buds.

if you let you ph get below 4 or above 9 you will not get any buds,

if you chop your plants down before they have buds you will not get any buds.

Yes there is lots of way to get no buds.

but if you follow simple instuctions on growing and dont do any thing wrong, and all works out right you should get a RESPECTABLE HARVEST. and if everything is perfect you will get a exceptional harvest!!!!!

A respectable harvest weight for me is anything over 0.5g per watt of light that I use.

I use 400w so I'm happy with anything over 200g.

However I generally hit 350g-500g from my 400w. Depends alot on strain and training though.

If I was growing 1 plant under a 1000w I would veg it until I can fill a 3.5x3.5 floor space along with topping and LST to make it fill out. Probably 3months. Then I would expect at least 500g to be happy.

However there is weight in numbers.

I grow 4x2ft plants under my 400w.

Under 1000w I would grow 6-8 3ft plants.

I'm with Jonda on this. I scrog and find vegging up to a 2x2 area for each plant to be good. Not only do indica's seem about ready to flower then, running a single plant grow has risks. You are putting all your eggs in one basket.

To me, respectable weight is .5 - 1.0 grams per watt. But also, take into account high yield and low yield strains....

But like they say - too many variables to give a generalized answer.

Yeah, everyone is reaching for gram/watt. Anything over .5 is pretty good. If you're doing sog/scrog you should get closer to the gram a watt if you're good.

Six weeks of veg from clone, indica dom, under a 1,000 watt for flowering? For myself growing in smart pots using FFOF and FF nutes with additional additives I would expect nothing less than 8 ozs. I use 600s, two plants per and average 6 ozs per plant. A QP is the very minimum per plant under most conditions using a 1,000 watt per plant, and that is pathetic.

I scrog and use hydro. Running either my 250 or 600 hps, I always seem to hit practically dead-on 0.75 gpw.

Thanks for answering the Q. .......Rep+ for you!!!!!

I do appreciate all the diff. scenarios ... but it's funny how hard it is to get a straight answer.
Q:
One plant 6 weeks veg.
1000 watt
Indica dominate
Harvest: Respectable & exceptional?
So the answer would be.
Respectable =
Exceptional =

what everyone is trying to say is, i think, it would be much better to use more than one plant under your 1000w. They get about a gram per watt by scrogging 4 plants under a 400w, with a month or so of veg? so i think that after 600w your light becomes hotter and the lumens per watt decreases, and that means you'd have to figure out the difference in lumen to watt ratio between the two, and then figure out how to calculate that shit (im not that great at math). if you only did 1 plant in 6 weeks i'd expect .5-.7 gram per watt because for one your losing lumens per watt on the light because its over 600w, secondly, its an indica with a lower yield, and also its one plant. in this time people are saying if you do multiple plants youll be taking more advantage of the veg time and be able to lst and scrog and whatnot to really use all of the lights footprint, and achieve more grams per watt. so .5-.7gpw is 500-700 grams in your situation.

Just had a simple Q. Of course you would have more than one plant under the 1000 w.

So you think you can get a pound & half from one plant with a six week veg? Now that would be exceptional. :eyesmoke:
