so the AP doesn't have writers working for them?
No, they have journalist.

Since the Pulitzer Prize was established, in 1917, AP has received 50 Pulitzers, including 30 photo Pulitzers.
AP, which is headquartered in New York, has more than 3200 staffers worldwide; almost two-thirds of whom are journalists—in more than 280 locations worldwide, including every statehouse in the U.S.

i have pointed out the following reasons why you are still off in la-la land many times.

1) you cited an article written by a contributor to theantiobamablog.com

2) the article was written in the conditional, i.e. "could" and "might", not "will"

3) the article made no reference at all to the PPACA

4) even if the article were true (which i am not granting, as it was written in the conditional by an obviously biased source), it does not confirm your original claim of no exemptions for lower income folks

so despite the fact that i have repeatedly pointed out these problems in a polite fashion and extended you further opportunities to actually cite the PPACA, you have refused to do so.

therefore, i am going to call you a lying cunt now and tell you to shut your lying mouth.

after waiting for my foodstamps for 2 months. yeah 9 dollars is def not enough for mim wage.
Dude, move up the ladder where you're working or start educating yourself.

If you're complaining about minimum wage, it's your responsibility to do something about it.

Really? But, surely there were 3 and 4 term Presidents before that. Washington was King for life, right?

(I'm trolling bucky, not you)

Yeah, I don' know much about history, don' no much trigonometry, don' know much about algebra, don' know know what a slide rule is for, and apparently not much about the US Constitution.

Not only that, I know our mythic history, King Arthur's and Sir Caradocs; I answer hard acrostics, I've a pretty taste for paradox, I quote in elegiacs all the crimes of Heliogabalus. In conics I can floor peculiarities parabolus; I can tell undoubted Raphaels from Gerald Dows and Zoffanies, I know the croaking chorus from The Frog of Areistophanes. Then I can hum a fugue of which I've heard the music's din afore, And whistle all the airs from that infernal nonsense Pinafore.

But, alas, I know nothing about the US Constitution or the Fraudulent Presidencies of FDR. <dooh>

So do you agree with my .sig?

Ah, there you go again. Too bad that you just can't contain your true inner self for anyone that doesn't agree with you. I guess the use of foul language is your last resort. And it doesn't change a thing about the truth about Obamacare. If you want to counter what I say then you do your own homework.

His true inner self is light. We all must find it.

again, you can't even cite the PPACA. you can't cite anything beyond a contributor to theantiobamablog.com who has to speak in the conditional.

didn't you learn anything last november about what happens when you live in the echo chamber, devoid of all attachment to fact?

i agree 9/min isnt enough. min should be raised to $13. Then more people would work instead of collecting.
Those folks need to go out and actually look for a job. Start out at the bottom even if it is a loss in wages. No one wants to hire someone who has been unemployed 3 years. They figure something is wrong with you

those people need pay that is actually fair.

It will make people happier, healthier and more productive
Minimum wage isnt there to make it fair

It is only there to establish a line that no employer can cross.
We all know if big business had it's way (talking to you Ron Paul fuckers) they would pay you slave wages and if you didnt like it they would find a way to import the talent to work for those wages

I started my real career, not the salesman shuffle, in about '88, San Francisco for $18K and company car. I had been given 6 weeks of school in Boston,. Before that I went to a tech school that the State paid for. Before that I was on un-employment after the Sofabed market crashed. And that was how I found the grant. Well I didn't. But the ladies said someone that is willing to come down every day and bug them, should get some of the secret sauce reserved for such. Make a note of it.

No one thought I could do it....but, once I got into the tech field, it was just showing up, the rest was fun.

And just showing up at the Unemployment office dressed nice and looking hopeful was how it all started.

Find something to spend decades at. If you work hard, you can add a zero to the right side of that starting salary.

Oh, btw, I had almost no college. Just enough to find the ganga.

as well as make companies hire less people. i don't mind minimum wage going up a tad, but its not an answer to everything. the problem is there isn't a lot of skilled workers in the field and company's don't want to pay to get those people educated.

You're right... But what's the point of miminum wage when you can be sacked for no reason with no protections from those types of abuses...

So min. wage is pointless without other legeslative protections that all workers should have...
