I am in the same boat. I am moving to Mi in about three weeks to look for houses.
Judging by your username you may be able to answer my question regarding poker though. Are there any games in MI above 5-10nl? Or is Hammond my only option. Also, what Casino's/charity rooms run 5-10? Thanks for any input.

you can get them on any corner
soaring eagle and sometimes kewadin have special tournies but you have to know the casino, these arent advertised very much to keep the riff raff out. call them and findout, i am sure they are starting up with spring summer.

Turtle Creek used to have a 5-10nl game come together here and there. Most of those guys would buy in anywhere from $5k to $10k. It's been awhile since I've been up there...don't have the time really. I'm more of 1-2 200 buy in guy myself anyway. I imagine calling these pokers rooms would be your best bet.

I think with the newest rulings of law here in Michigan that elite cuts are going to get a lot harder to be found for most . Dont get me wrong there will always be some people slinging clones for cash, and there will always be friends and clubs who work circles while paying it forward .. But with that said the new ruling and dispensary closings really puts a damper on most card holders in general.. These people are going to be subjected to craigslist peddlers and more or just plain out fucked with no resources ..
I find it all to be bullshit but I count my blessings for what I have acquired in genetics through all the years , Its not going to effect me in any way but I feel for those who have to deal with this .. Ok no , I do not actually feel sorrow for them hahah .. Back in my day there were very few Elite clones to be had in the first place and you had to know the right circles to even get close to them .. And most of the gear grown then was hand selected seed from around the world and grown by serious growers .. Yes we had to put in the hard work and time to acquire such in the first place .. After all we risked alot without cards so we did not play in the garden and we still dont ..
With the medical laws that we have it has become a hay-day for people that are new to this all .. Spoiled rotten generation of growers hahahah

I mostly play online poker. I have been doing this for about 3 years and I was just sick of spending so much time pheno hunting. Seems like such a waste of time and money when you have a limit on how many you can grow.

I understand where your coming from my friend but it sounds like an issue with the genetics at hand then , as the right genetics will leave you often confused on what Pheno to keep lol At least with Hybrids ..

I have gotten decent phenos from seed. Like Dinafems Critical Jack, tga's dairy queen and apollo 13, Cheesedawg, HSO Chemdawg trainwreck, Cali Conn Tahoe OG and Sour D. They were all pretty good but i want mind blowing strains like I used to smoke when I would get stuff from Cali.

I am moving from LA. We have a lot of poker games but, no affordable property. I am done with landlords, I have had such bad luck with them I will gladly
deal with 20 degree weather again. Looking forward to being around sane people,clean air and extra cash again. I have much love for MI!
