My set up (picture) plz view!!!

below is the picture of the set up i have built

i built it because the roots were getting too big in the small pots

the set up i have made im now a little worried if it will work as i dont want to kill the plants

will i need air/water pump????

any comments on the set up will be apreciated

I wish I could help ya here.... Try looking in the growing faq... There is a ton of good info there... Do you have a air pump in the res?

so the roots are just sitting in the water? I aqurium airstone will help with the water...

cheers im aware most the things on there i was thinking air pump my self gona sort one out t moz you know if i need water pump? also do ya know how often i need to feed the as i added the usual amount to sec today but with me using the same water i duno how oftern to add more newtriants to the water

you should probably change the water and nutes once a week... Im gonna send someone else here and see if they can help with the rest of your questions.... I have a much diffrent setup and learning myself..

I'm not able to open the attached pic so if you could possible use photobucket and upload a large image directly onto your post I could see what your problem was.

From what I can see, your roots are going into some type of reservior and if that's the case, you will need an air pump & an airstone to airate the water in your reservior (you can get both at a aquarium shop for about $15 total). A bigger pic would really help me see what's going on with your set-up. If you're manually feeding the plants then you won't need a submersible pump or anything like that, just the air pump.

yes you will need a air stone/pump for an aquarium ....you dont want to sit ure roots in still oxygenated water

getting a air pump 1st thing in the morning thanx guys will they be ok in the water for24 hours they being in it 12 and will be another 12 b4 a get the pump???

also can you check the pic i uploaded under another thread as one my plant leafs gone funny ang has a bit shit on it plz view it cheers

also you need to keep up with the ph level in the rez as well as your ppm..

also I can find no pic of the actual plant... cant help there with the funny leaf

Ok I still cant really tell what is going on with the leaf in the pic, I think maybe a lack of water issue.... But Im really not sure... Ive taken your pic and Im gonna post it in this post so others can see it well and hopefully we will get you the help ya need that way.
