Good point there Chef, but since most of us avoid those things how about comparing BHO with grapes or apples, is it worse than those? Maybe some regs in this area make sense. I freaking hate gov restrictions on our freedoms. But if someone is making hash oil that is intended for smoking and that oil has poison in it, well maybe we need to figure out how much toxic stuff is in there and let the smoker decide about whether he wants to risk it. Having this illegal stifles the progress toward making it safer. What we really need is some healthy hash oil. I haven't tried oil in a very long time, but as a living science experiment I can tell you that something gave me cancer and I don't know what it was, might have been that hash oil at a party several decades ago or the years of driving the freeways in clouds of smog. Anyway, we need to be careful when working with petro chems and not be sucking it into our lungs.

Yes he has a fair amount of info on CO2 extraction also, even a DIY design for a CO2 extractor, but I think he gave up on the simple extractor because it wouldn't be extracting across a stable pressure drop I think.... Or maybe he just wanted finer control, can't remember. I'm still going to build one thanks to me flapping my jaws in that one ill conceived thread that I started on CO2 extraction, but in my reading so far you should be able to use CO2 below is supercritical point (1,000 psi), which will make it a bit more doable.
I'm now thinking of using a single chamber , with a drop in screen cage for the buds and a detachable lid (possibly a gasket seal with cinch latches around circumference, should be good for some decent pressure, gotta figure that one), charge it with CO2, bring up the heat (and hence pressure), shake it around some (or put it on a wheel and spin it like a centrifuge. Then bleed off the pressure into a flash pan..... should leave behind the extract....
Having said that, it won't be the safest gadget around. Instead of dropping dough for a pop-off valve like the skunk dude, I will just use a pressure gauge. I wouldn't expect a cheap, safe and reliable CO2 extractor to be on the market anytime soon, of course there's some smart folks out there and where there's a demand...

The CO2 is doable and safe if built properly , but my funding is far to low , Everclear is the best I can hope for now , if you do build one , make sure you pipe the CO2 into your grow room , 1500 PPM is your fast grow goal and 10,000 PPM will control the critters .

I don't think it will need much CO2 actually, of course it might not work either....
I made up some CBD caps today. I used 1 gram of the Torah Bora bho (made specially from nugs) and 1g of the R4 bho along with 1 tbsp of coconut oil to make (14) 00 caps. So, if you assume TB is 2:1 CBD/THC and R4 is essentially pure CBD, then the ratio should come out to something like 80/20 CBD/THC, or did I do that wrong.... Anyway, they will pack a punch, maybe 150mg of concentrate per cap. I wish I knew exactly what dose of CBD I'm getting mg wise that is... I'll let y'all know how they work

Sorry bro, it is illegal. It's no sweat on my end, obviously I would not put my correct return address on the package, and there would be no money involved, but you would be on the receiving end. Update. Probably made those caps a wee bit strong. Took a nap for much of Saturday afternoon. Having said that, I can't remember the last time I was able to sleep during the day, so maybe not all bad. Seriously, I need to double the coco oil quantity and they should be about right.

Just an FYI on those caps... I was already reasonably stoned when I took the cap last weekend, so it wasn't a fair gauge. I took one this morning and I'm liking it. Time to get some paper off the desk...
