Task Force Improvement ?

I was surprised at how the Task Force was not concerned enough about Patients and Caregivers , there were people on the Task Force that were representing the Marijuana consumers , and Medical Marijuana Industry but it appears they did not speak up . Although it was mentioned but not strong enough the Plant count and what is considered a plant need some serious changes , it needs to be more in line with Washington and Oregon , the current amounts are far to low for the patients needs , it should be at least 12 plants , 6 in Veg and 6 in flower and cuttings or clones or clippings under 12 inches x 12 inches should not be counted as part of the 12 plant count .

And ALL CONTROL of seeds and trim (not dried ) transferred between registered Patients and Caregivers should be eliminated . Colorado Patients and Caregivers need to demand this !

I'd like to see another amendment on the ballot in the next election cycle that eliminates all penalties for having, selling and growing. The price would plummet and after an adjustment period there would be a whole new way of looking at this. I'll steal a phrase here and call it "The Amendment to Regulate MMJ like Tomatoes" initiative.
:peace:

I like that Tomatoes initiative . Also Simple Laws .
The goal of LEO is that the Marijuana plants be grown out of the view of the public . The laws need to be such that if LEO ( or anyone for that matter ) can take a picture of my plants then they are in the public view BUT if I grow my plants in such a way that it is impossible to take a picture of my plants then I would be legal . A simple law like this would give me the ability to grow my plants in full natural sunlight . This can easily be done as long as no person trespasses my property or my airspace . We need to keep the laws simple , no picture then no violation !

It needs to be legal for patients and caregivers to transfer trim ( Not dried or cured ) and seeds we would have access to seeds and clones for the production of our medication . Simple law – No controls for seeds and green trim being transferred between patients and caregivers .

Green Houses , again simple law , Reinforced and Locked , and impossible to take a pictures of plants . Again no picture no violation .

Guns and growing medical marijuana , these two thing should have no connection what so ever , as an American we should have rights to both . Gun control keeps getting drawn into the subject of growing medical marijuana and it should not .

Laws on transporting medical marijuana should be no different than transporting any other prescription medication . Simple , they are already in place .

LEO , protect and serve , we need to get back to this simple and basic thinking .

If you run for office I will vote for you. Watched the Disc chan last night and agree that we are spending an outrageous fortune on enforcement of crazy MMJ laws. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness should be more than a wish and the bullshit swat team stuff with MMJ should not be happening. i think that the politicians have lost control of the police and we should push them to regain proper control over that heavily armed gang and direct their activities to more suitable tasks like security and border control. Watching helicopter supported military assaults on gardens on TV is bizarre and should not be happening. Growing in the National Parks and forests needs to be either regulated or controlled, but to reach the point where a dozen cops are on the ground using military tactics shows how poorly managed this situation is. If MMJ was not illegal there would not be a motivation to set up a clandestine grow in the forest in the first place. Just legalize it and we solve 90% of the problems.

You don't want to accidentally run across any of those gardens in the parks... good way to get shot unfortunately.

Your right about that , I didn’t even think about that . That threat would probably go away if everyone would plant seeds everywhere , there would be so many plants they would never be able to control them , maybe that’s why they are so big on control over seeds . We need a few 100,000 Johnny Appleseed type people .

We allow grazing, oil and mineral extraction on our government owned lands, why not lease some of it out for growers? When I go wheelin' in the back country, one of the reasons is to play with guns, so I think it would probably not be a problem to stumble across a grow op. Every place that I have been on public lands where it was appropriate to target practice there were already shells on the ground. My policy has always been to carry out more than I carry in so I always bring back extra brass, but point is a grower would be nuts to plant where there is shooting going on and I really would be surprised to find a grow in the Rockies on govt land. CA is a different story, there be some right crazy folks there and I hear a lot of the idiot growers are from Mexico and not at all familiar with the way we do things in the US.
