I don't think approval is the issue. Simple silence of a disapproving opinion will do. I have negative sentiments about various lifestyles, but I almost never give those sentiments voice. The impression I get is that Brasso won't accept being left alone; he seems insistent that we don't merely tolerate his views, but approve of them.
1) the only one who truly needs to approve of his sentiments is he.
2) There is a huge difference between wanting to be left alone with a sentiment that might be unpopular ... and insisting on being allowed to voice it without comment. I do not see traction in the idea that that is anyone's problem but his. cn
