wait, so youre saying war is violent?

and propaganda and dehumanizing the opposition is going on right now?

and this is something NEW?

yeah.

capitalism = racism

capitalism = oppression

capitalism = war

classic class warfare, classic marxist rhetoric.

it's never hard to find some dude who will stand up and shout that we should all accept marxism, when he lives in a free society, but finding a guy willing to stand up and demand freedom in a marxist society, now that's a video worth posting.

Tank Man also has less stilted overblown hyperbolic rhetoric.

haha... Do you know who Smedley Butler is? Probably either the first or second most highly decorated Marine in the history of the Marine Corp. If you google the most highly decorated Marine, you get "Chesty Puller" with 5 Navy Crosses. Smedley Butler had 2 Congressional Medals of Honor. Which is more impressive? I'm voting for the CMH winner.

Now, ask yourself why you don't know his name: Because he had the guts and intelligence to call bullshit to his time in the military. So, he was written out of history.

AFTER his military career, he wrote a book "War is a Racket". I suggest you read it. Also, Major General Smedley Butler claims he was approached by a group of industrialists (of which Prescott Bush was one of the leaders) to threaten FDR with a military coop here in the USA.

But I'm sure you got an answer for all this. Haha... you seem to have an answer for everything :)

but you see, the assumption that war is a racket, and industrialists and money men might try to gian advantage or profit through war, or even threaten a coup d'etat is not counter to accepted understandings of capitalism, however capitalism allows restraint of capitalism, where marxism allows 0% capitalist content, save in the democratic socialist systems, which are viewed by "mainstream maxists" as a betrayal of the revolution.

capialtism and democracy allow for dissent, as much as they allow for the excesses marx so despised. marxism allows NO dissent, since dissent undoes the revolution, and destroys their illusion of fairness.

capitalism and democracy allow participation in systems of marxism and communism, as long as the participants accept the idea and agree, but marxism is diametrically opposed to all capital and all real democracy.

if you told smedley he was a marxist, and said he had to join The Party or go to gulag, he would fuck your shit up.

smedly gets to disagree with our system and speak his mind because he, and men like him fought for all of our rights to do so. marxism destroys those rights, 100% of the time.

your argument is not even an argument, it is a statement of fact that you ASSUMED i was going to disagree with, but i dont trust unrestrained capitalism any more than i trust an unrestrained bear.

but my trust for ANY marxism is roughly equivalent to my trust in the kindness and fellow feeling of a pool of quicksand. like quicksand, marxism kills even when it is not hungry, not angry and not under threat, it kills simply because it is, and that is its nature.

haha... so, if i think war is bad - then I'm a marxist?

I was in the military, were you? Please name a true Marxist regime? All ideologies have some sort of hidden agenda they serve and all make a few animals more equal then others. There is no true capitalism, marxism, communism, fascism, or whatever... It's all bullshit.

more reductio ad absurdum.

you can think war is bad all you like,, since we live in a free society.

Tank Man was disappeared for thinking that using tanks against non-violent protestors in his own country was bad.

thats marxism. NO dissent, NO dissagreement, NO choices, NO opposition, and if The Party says war is good, they you WILL agree.

if The Party says you must shoot your mother in the face, you WILL do it, or they will get somebody else to do it, and then Youre Next.

however, when you espouse marxist ideals and spew marxist rhetoric in a free society, then others may disagree, as vehemently as they choose, because they too have that freedom.

until The Party gains total control, and silences all dissent, marxist ideology will never go unchallenged, just as capitalist ideology never goes unchallenged by marxists,, leftists communists, and even capitalists who think capital has gone too far.

thats why capitalism = freedom, marxism = chains.

your Special Pleading is as lame as your Reductio Ad Absurdum. even those who were unable to serve due to crippling injury can disagree with any policy of our government, or even agree if they wish. you gain no special powers from actual military service, and certainly gain no special powers for CLAIMING to have served.

North Korea and Cuba are both Real Deal Marxist countries, embracing the socialist system, disarming the revolutionaries, and deradicalizing the proletariat. they both "re-educate" their populace in marxist thought and both claim to eventually intend to complete their evolution to true communism, someday...

thats as real as it gets, following marx's doctrines step by step, as instructed. it's just the Socialism stage is taking a litttle longer then expected. you know, because of Bush.

Yes Kynes, clearly this veteran is a Marxist. Hopefully nobody listens to him, right?
OK, not my fight but I read the last page 3 times to see how you came the conclusion that Kynes is saying the vet is a Marxist. I think he alluded to the man being a hero and because of men like him we still have freedoms.

Maybe both of us are wrong and he'll clear it up.

LOL! sorry man. When I read that I figured he was talking about you, not the video guy. Then I thought you were saying Dr. Kynes comments about the 2nd soldier meant he called Butler a Marxist and I kept rereading that wondering where that leap came from.

I"m high, it happens. I'll step away now.

North Korea and Cuba have been cut off from the rest of the world because of US medling - not by choice. They are a product of economic aggression and are coping the best they can due to the circumstances.

You seem very intelligent - but it seems you can't think for yourself... It sounds to me that you just regurgitate what suits you.

his use of marxist tropes, marxist rhetoric and marxist imagery imlies strongly that his political leanings are marxist.

not self-identifying as a marxist is no indication of the presence or absence of marxist ideology, since these days even dyed in the wool marxists, from democratic socialists to utopian communists who sleep with Mao's Quotations from the Chairman under their pillows avoid the Marxist label like it's got the aids.

this is understandable since marxism is synonymous with authoritarian dictatorships, oppression and violent imposition of their ideology.

but if you carry a bible everywhere you go, proseletyze about jesus at every opportunity, sing Onward Christian Soldiers while holding a picture of a dismembered fetus outside Planned Parenthood, and listen to creed records anyone would logically assume you were a christian fundie wingnut.

if, as a result, somebody says "Merry Christmas" and you whip around and rip them a new one, screaming with spittle flecked lips and rage in your eyes that "I'm A Fucking Zen Buddhist You CockBag!!!!1!!!11!!!!!!1!!Uno!!!!!" you can expect eyes to roll, and people to assume youre just an asshole.

cuba is not cut off from the rest of the world, just the US, and north korea has considerable relations with china and several other marxist nations in their region.

venezuela is also not "victimized" by any embargoes or trade sanctions, and yet hugo chavez got as rich as Croesus, while the peasntry are still wating for the land grants he promised when he "nationalized" the real estate market.

you might want to check your assumptions.

cuba is the world's #1 sugar exporter, and the only country that doesnt buy cuban sugar is the US. the only country in the world that does not allow cuban cigars is the US, etc etc etc.

cuba is hamstrung by their authoritarian socialist system, not by america refusing to buy their goods, or sell them our iPhones and pornography.

I disagree... North Korea is going off the deep end after the UN is considering new sanctions - or have you conveniently missed that? You think China pays North Korea's way? You are nuts... Look at a satellite night photo of N. Korea vs. S. Korea.... That is the USA doing, not N. Koreas.

And sugar? Are you serious? You are trying to either mislead everyone here or you are living in the past... Brazil is the number 1 sugar exporter 39% vs Cuba's 2.7%.

Face it, Cuba and North Korea are the way they are because of the USA - the rest is smoke and mirrors.
