I just wanted to see if anyone can share some good deals. I'm starting a new build and I need to start spending! I need to buy everything, all I have is 1000 watt hps.

I agree to some extent... I think big orders should be done by cash through a local dealer, but enforcement can just as easily watch license plates that travel to the Hydro Shop, the same as customs can alert them if your order is suspicious , plus not everyone has a hydro shop near them, I do, but not everyone does....

I was at some hydro store's web site before that had a ton of used shit, anyone know where I was. I can't find it anymore, they claimed to have a wharehouse full of random stuff. Every place I find now that sells used, just has like one light....

a lot of people use HTGsupply. they have an ebay store as well as a website. Im too lazy to link but you can google it.
but even better is to check craigslist. the for sale section just search the entire section and put in high pressure sodium or metal halide in the words. i found one on my craigslist for $45 obo the other day. i didnt go get it cause i already have a setup anyways but i was just checking things out. come to think of it i should have bought it and sold it for a profit. lol.
anyways, they are always relatively cheap on CL if you have a decent city nearby.

hey i was in the same boat before i went and looked. I figured ohh there wont be anything in my area. but there was quite a bit and i was surprised. if i end up getting a nice big grow tent for my garage I may pick up a few more setups off CL just for the heck of it. not to mention I could use an extra light if i upgrade my space.

I just talked to a guy who is selling me 4-400watt Metal Halide HighBay fixtures for $40each. I will have to DYI them into remote ballasts, but hey, for that price I'm on it!

yeah from my understanding you gotta get the ones that say they dont give off gasses or whatever. am i correct on this? any brand you know of/suggest that would be safe? I was looking at the ones on HTG supply!
