The Sheriffs in the counties surrounding Austin aren't quite so forgiving with their pursuits from what I gather. Being a resident of the surrounding area for several decades, I'd feel much better about being caught growing in Travis county than where I am. It's still Texas, a conservative stronghold. I love Texas, but I have no hope of marijuana legislation easing punishment on growers. We are evil you know.

Let me tell you i know how agressive travis county can be while we can get favorable dispositions in most cases, travis county vice is a force to be dealt with, In my case they were a few hours too late and it created a multi felony shit storm.

use over 3500 kwh in austin get on another list, in town or out its less that perfect.
I operated many many good years before the problems set in.

It doesnt take too many plants and the state wants to give you to the feds.

i did only months on a very very serious felony charge. 97 days total...


Remember dont admit to anything. Even if caught red handed.

I live in burnet county but go to Austin all the time. Last ur a guy got busted in this county and just got possesion I think he could get it knocked to a misdemeanor with a lawyer bc they weigh the weed wet and charge u for possessing it.
Also I had a buddy or a few that had some grow ops in Austin but one for sure got turned in by the electric company and got popped...so I agree with old dude sayin over 3000w is a no no but I think ANY state people growing for personal use should be golden
The ONLY way to get busted is loose lips really.
I ran at least 2k watts in San Angelo in a real nice neighborhood and was good

Hmmm I think I might disagree with you on that.. Though I did go to a highschool where the mascot was a steer,thankfully just 1 semester

Howdy fellow Texans! I've been on this forum a few years and with hat in hand, I'm just getting now making my first post on this TGU thread. I'm a bit further north of Austin. I've been doing a closet grow for a few years now, I've recently harvested my best grow so far. I had a few AK47 Autos and a ChemDog fem. The two AKAutos finished about 75 days and were easy to grow and had excellent aroma and taste, smooth on the throat and lungs and a good high BUT they didn't hold a candle to my ChemDog lady. One little girl, vegged for 40 days, it bushed out perfectly without intervention on my part so I didn't top or LST her, just let her do her thing.. She ended up maturing about 13-14 weeks, very little ambering but she was no doubt ready. I think I got one of those legendary 14 week golden phenos... anyway, she finished nearly six feet tall and yielded 11.5 zips dry! Super dank and oh so smooth to smoke, I've had a few friends one my brother actually, smoked this for the first time and puked, yea, it's dank. About to start another Dog and a Chronic Fruit Juice which is killer like the dog. A few pics:

Is the Chemdog an auto?If not did you keep cutting's?
