Haha I thought I was the only one! I hang a couple every year, still a month until the season begins here though.

I plan on doing one...Not as a real competitor, since I have limited sun exposure...But to help "fill out the crowd"...haha...They're at the 99 cent store near me, and I was there today and totally blanked out on it. I gotta remember to pick one up next time.

I guess it's not official till I get one, but hopefully I'll be in on this action.

I hope you do! I'm doing this just for shits and giggles. I like to have project plants, this year is the topsy turvy a bonsai and my pitcher plant.

ok ! I picked mine up today. Had to pay top dollar but I went to 3 different dollar stores and didn't find any/ LOL Wally world it was. :lol:

Yeah, I've never seen them at "The Dollar Tree", only the "99 Cents Only" stores. How much are they at wallyworld? They USED to sell these things on tv for 19.99 for a pair, but they included some watering wand or something too...

If anyone wants me to, I can pick up a bunch at the 99 cent store and I'll mail 'em to whoever needs 'em...Ya'll just pay for shipping.

Yeah, I had seen the ones for Chili peppers at the 99 cent store before, but they're like half the size or less than the tomato planters. When I saw they had the tomato ones, I was super tempted...and when I saw this thread, that sealed the deal. I still have my doubts to my success, because I STRUGGLE to get 5 hours of direct sun in the peak of summer. But hey, it's all for fun, right?
