$50 for a grinder?!?!?!?!

I didnt know where to put this, its my first post. Anyway my buddy joe is about to pay 50 bucks for a grinder off another friend of mine mike, that's a well known, how do I put this, con. Mike says he payed 150, which anyone knows is bullshit. I don't want to let joe waste his money but he thinks its cool. Plus I have to go pick it up for him along with an eighth. What can I do?:?

I've seen grinders for $125 at headshops around me. I paid alittle more than $50 for mine brandnew. Make sure your friend screws and unscrews all the parts multiple times and looks at how the screen is set in and if its held in place well. A good grinder is well worth $50 in my book.

edit: looks like it's up to you to do the checking out of the grinder. If it's flimsly don't buy it. take your friend out and get him a new one from a shop.

First spot I went for my grinder I was looking for a keif box. The dude said they sold them but it's more space than I would need. Fucking clueless tool lost a sale that day. Ended up at a different spot and picked my grinder up.

I like to put a few grams on the screen just to collect the kief. It's rare that I use it to actually grind anything, once in awhile for a joint but J's waste too much in my opinion. I seem to roll them more just after harvest. Last time I didn't and things are stretching out nicely this time.

I got my x large chromium crusher for 65USD i have had it for almost 6 years now never cleaned it still works great.. every 2-3 months ill open the kief catcher and toke up :D probably went threw 4-5 pounds by now

We didnt have those in the 70's and I find them worthless.
Yes, you can grind up your weed and get the kief prize but
just pinch the seeds out of your buds and smoke the shit.
Make quality extracts in other ways.

Fuck Grinders, well not sandwich grinders...

I've seen metal and aluminum grinders going for wel over 100 bucks in certain shops.
Size matters, amount of pins, logo or imagery on top ....

Wood ones are generally cheaper (metal pins, wood containter).

I would check the dudes weed first ... if its fluffy/soft .. then why need a grinder hehe

A grinder leaves way more small twigs in the resulting grind.

I really dont care for my grinder.. it's about as thick as a deck of cards.. and with R.A trying to turn this with some mj in it is a task. I have superglued a med bottle ontop of it once which helped with grip and storage, but it fel off shortly after that.. thinking of j.b welding something on top.

I cant bring myself to spend more then about 10$=15$ tops on a grinder..
