Air Force Major General Assassinated?

A two-star Air Force general and his wife died Friday after the single-engine plane he was piloting crashed less than a mile from the runway at Williamsburg-Jamestown Airport.

Maj. Gen. Joseph D. Brown IV had been serving as commandant of the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy at the National Defense University.

But, before that, he served as the Deputy Director for Nuclear Operations, U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb.

I know bunches of people here think coincidences just happen over and over again... Maybe they do. But given this guy's prior assigned duty, I think this should be looked at a bit more carefully.

Seems strange to me a very experienced pilot such as he was couldn't emergency land a Cessna - I'm sure those are much harder to control than the B1s and B52s he is use to flying :P

But shit happens, maybe it was an accident. I'd be interested to hear what londonfog thinks.

Well, I was just wondering if Al Qaeda was maybe hiding on board that Cessna... Being the resident "Politics" air force forum expert, I thought you would know better than anyone... Damn you Al Qaeda!!!!!!

Do you remeber the Prime Minister of New Zealand? Her government had arrested 2 MOSSAD agents on trial for trying to obtain fake passports... Well, her plane door fell off in flight! All this can be verified with a little research but most here are too lazy to do that - must be the ganja :)
