Looks like an immature male pollen sac. If you have many of them, or they are in your buds (look way up underneath) you may end up pulling it. You can try to pluck them, I have done this with some success. If it is truly both sexes pulling them off will be feudal. If its just a rogue sac or two..it happens. Nice plant, I would most defiately try to salvage it. Post a close picture of the bud sites. I recently pulled a true herm, true herms are relatively rare and look quite different when they flower, my JackFrost did anyway. DOn't give up hope yet. I see some tedious study under magnification in your future.

these are the best pics i can do,bad focus, cant get any real close shots...im so confused..people on my other thread saying pull them of,some say its hermie kill it etc etc i have just been looking at my plants all 9 of these have them?.. can i really be that unlucky even clones i got of a friend wich i seen the finished product and they where immense!DSC02322.jpgDSC02325.jpgDSC02326.jpgDSC02329.jpg176.jpg

you and I have the exact same issue. This is my first grow. Your post is the only one online I have found that 100% matches mine. I've been flowering for about 10 days now 2 unknowns and 1 WW. The WW is going awesome 6-7 inches under the 90W UFO.
One of the unknowns have just started to develop these (balls). (look like immature male parts.) just 1 or 2 per node on 2 or 3 nodes towards the bottom where light is less.., and also developing very nice preflowers with a bunch of pistils on the top of the main. It is VERY funny; one node has a ball like this on one side, and 2 white hairs from a calyx on the other side(same node) !!
The other unknown is exactly the same, but without these tiny male looking parts.
I hope they are just swollen calyx, but I'm thinking it might have a hermie tenancy. Hermies come from not enough light/light leaks, stress,.. or it could just be genetic. I'm thinking genetic or not enough light reaching the bottom; since the unknowns are getting florescent 3200k and only around 5,000 lumens from a few inches from the top. I'll check back here in a couple days to compare the progress. Killing a healthy hearmie is the last thing I want to do. I just can't let it pollinate the others if it does turn out to be balls.
let us know what turns out okay?

if their on all your plants, then maybe you don't have to worry about contamination too much and you could just use some 'reverse'! if available. just an idea. I live in Brazil and I would love to get a hold of some reverse. on the list for next time I go to Colorado to visit fam.

They are normal, but not always consistent around these two strains, JF and my Panama turned Acapulco GOld.. I say as long as they are not pollen sacs leave them alone. I'm pretty sure its just a calyx with a pistil sticking out. WAY different than that sac up there.

Pull the Male sac you originally pictured, look inside it and compare it to an easily found reference. You will easily see the sex/presex. Pollen sac is much different looking than a calyx.

I put that picture up to see if that was what was in your bag, the ones you have been procuring, not growing. This plant is not hermed it is a "normal" female. I pulled one that was quite different..

Hermed, here is its picture.

jackfrost2.jpg

There were male parts and female parts evident in the buds, notice the irregularity and it looks seeded? Because it is/was.. I pulles it before the seeds devoloped and made hash out of it..crazy potent what bit came out.

This is a pic I found by googling Marijuana Stipule. If you see anything that looks like the ones that say Male, pluck them and dissect them to verify.. after you see the difference it will be clear. If you have many and it is truly a herm then you might have to pull it. Don't wait for it to pop open if it were going to grow a hair it would be pointed...pull it and look now. The original photo is a pollen sac. plucking and dissecting these two parts will help you better understand. Pulling on or two off to look will not hurt the plant.

Unless you just have some unstable strains or you've stressed them all, I doubt you have as many hermies as you state. Again, look for the sac at the end of a stalk for a male flower. The female flower will not have this stalk and will put out a pistil. See you other thread for the pics I posted of male flowers on a hermied plant.

I am not one to waste is the reason I tried it. I suppose it depends on what your preference is in smoke. I like a little more pain management sometimes and that is what the herm hash was good for. Smoke about a helf hour before bed and wake up feeling great. More medicinal for me.
