shot glass grow?

yesterday i saw pics people growing cannabis in a SHOT GLASS. are they real? anyone tried before? what are the pros and cons?

yea a shot glass simply isnt big enough to support a marijuana plant root system, 16 oz cup would prob be the absolute minimum, i have seen some really decent grows with 16 oz cups, i think fdd used to grow in them, he had 4 foot tall plants full of bud coming out ofa 16 oz red cup, it was straight up crazy, but like i said a shot glass, sorry maybe to sprout but theres justnoway it could develop mature roots.

you never want to use anything clear that will allow light to get to the roots, roots hate light... glass = clear. also, unless you used a diamond drill bit to drill a hole in it it would have no drainage... plus thats just way to small. you can start a seed in a shot glass but you'll have to transplant like 5 days after it breaks the surface.

you can grow in small spaces just needs to be watered often and you need to be very accurate with nutrients

I grow in a ipod case. I use a keychain flashlight bulb and a cell phone fan that i wired to some watch batteries. Stealth is my main concern. Computer cases are so obvious and not nearly micro enough to hang with the mp3 player growers .

I know a guy who uses 4 mini string lights from his christmas tree in a hollowed out loaf of bread. He made a DIY carbon filter from a pencil and a cigarette. He pulled close to 4 pounds on his last harvest.

With proper LSTing, I usually get close to a QP in my ipod.

Somebody here grows in 16 and 24 oz. beer cans, but the 16 oz. solo cup with the one big bud was floating around in a thread today, that's the smallest I've seen.
