A couple general questions.

I have a couple of questions. Ive been growing the bigger plant for awhile now. not exactly sure but say 2.5 months. I transplanted and started feeding her about 2 weeks ago. im using a 24-8-16 all purpose plant food i got from my local home depot. I also started to increase the lights on cycle by adding a CFL bulb. i was using only natural light upto my transplant bout 2 weeks ago. As soon as i started to feed her and she had more room to grow she has taken off in growth. In the last week alone she went from 23" tall to 27" tall.

Some of my questions are...
how long should i let her go before i start to put her to a 12/12 light cycle?
When should i start to give her bloom booster food?
How high above the plants should i put my cfl lights?
How often should i be feeding my plant with the food i have now?
Is the growth spurt due to more room plus food or is she getting ready to flower?

you want to wait til those branches sprout out a bit more, but otherwise, flowering is up to you. How much room you have, how long you have to grow, ect.
bloom food is usually given a week or 2 after the 12/12 flip.
cfl's can be a 1/4 inch away.
follow the directions on the back at half strength and see how the plant reacts. If it looks good, keep it up. If it looks like it needs more, than add a little more.

Also, it looks like the first pic the plant is soaked? If your misting them, stop. It can cause pretty bad burns and stunt their growth!!

They person above is correct, except for misting (in my opinion) I mist all the time with no burn or stunted growth. If anything it helps... It rains in nature right? Anyways, plants CAN stretch 2-3X their height in flower, do be prepared! Make sure you have the room height wise.

If what you say about it getting that big in flower then i might have to cut back on it and force it to start to flower now. space would be a lil bit of an issue if it grows to 2x or 3x it mass now. She does look good as hell. I mist my plants once a week to open pores and remove any dust that gathers on leaves. And yes it does rain in nature.

I mist my plant every day, no problems at all. If you've got enough patience (and space) leave your plants in veg as long as possible, your yield will be better. And if you're going to lower the cfl's then remember to adjust them as your plant grows, especially during flowering. You don't want to burn the tops of you plants.

There's no need at all to mist your plants unless you have a deficiency, humidity issues or what not.

exactly. If your growing outdoor, the sun will cause damage if water is on the leafs. Everyone compares it to nature. In nature it can overwater it, but if we do it, its a problem. Nature can not rain for weeks, but if we dont water, it'll die. Unless your plant is sitting outside living completely off nature, comparing it to nature doesnt do anything...
