**OFFICIAL** Colorado Patients Party Cup Grow

This contest is for the Colorado RIU usual suspects. I thought it would be fun to get a Party Cup grow going as it would be an awesome way for us to learn from and teach each other what our techniques are in sort of a snapshot. The prize will be something that defys any monetary value, dwarfs all of the gold on earth, has a higher value than Apple and Facebook put together, the prize...will be the ability to shit talk to the other RIU members. Plus it might be cool to get together after the contest and smoke each others weed.

Rules:

16oz. or 18oz. Party Cup (from seed to harvest)
Some sort of medium (soil, cc) so no hydro.
Any type of light.
From seed only (True is looking at maybe all having the same)
Winner will be decided by a vote among the CO folks.
We will start....when?
Weekly updates in this thread.
Roots have to be contained within the cup.

OK, so it's go time. Start your plants now and veg them til June 20th. Come the 20th you can pick what plant you are going to run for the contest if you end up starting a bunch. They MUST stay within their cups and you MUST update this thread a minimum of weekly. Train them, top them, do whatever until June 20th. After the 20th we will cut off the comp on Saturday, August 24th and vote for the winner based on weight and also prettiest bud picture. That will be 65 days for flowering from the 20th.

Can i modify the party cup? Drain holes are an obvious, but can i further modify it? Can i just make a 16 oz smart pot?
Can we start more than 1 seed (in case of males) and only flower 1?
How long do we have to veg for?
How do we decide who the winner is?
When do we want to start by? We should probably have a pre-comp meet up to hand out the necessities....

Do they make 16 oz. smart pots? If so I'm in on that one. I say please go ahead and add to it, Trueno. Whatever you think is best just update my post.

I also think a meetup would be great. As far as a winner I think a vote would be a good thing. Everyone here is pretty dang honest so I don't think that's a major concern.

Nope, your contest, your choices. I just ask questions.
They don't make a 16 oz smart pot, but i got a sewing machine, never used it but i am sure i could figure it out, or my wife would just do it to get me off of her sewing machine. If it were allowed i would do it, many other ideas too. But i don't want to cheat, so we have to figure out what is ok and what is not.

Count me in as long as I can use a blumat..... Those little cups will have to be watered multiple times per day in flower I bet, with my traveling my entry would resembles Chews partied out party cup picture...

I like the idea of having them all the same, dont take my cheapness for complaining about having to buy something. I was simply saying we all know how out of hand seed purchases
can get so as long as its reasonable i'm in. Dont mind my innerjew.
