They smash any hydro stores prices, fo sho. I should have bought all my shit online, instead of wasting time and gas driving around to bfe etc etc...

Anyone looking for a good place to start buying shit for your grow, you can find some damn good deals, with free shipping. I would just suggest you ship stuff to somewhere other than where you plan to set up shop :)

Hell, i just got a digital scale, 40x jewelers loop w/led light, and a ph pen w/calibration crap all for under 30 dollars, shipped free. I mean shit... :clap:

Only bad thing i can think of is when you log in and all you have purchased is shit that looks obvious lol. fuck it, yolo. hahaha

Absolutely. near everything I own grow-wise comes from ebay and some things I can't even buy local if I wanted to. The stuff I can can be considerably more. Example: new quality digi dimmable 600w ballast $400. Ebay same ballast $280.

yeah i got a 1000 watt digi dimmable Ipower w/cool tube, and big ass reflector on that shit for 249.99 shipped. Dope :)

^ also like to note the only hydro shop near me is like 15 miles away and for the same price they were selling 400 watters with less accessory's and open style reflectors with no tube... Not to mention i would have had to pay tax, FUCK THAT. hahahaha

^ As im pretty new to trying to find less than normal things for grow room(s) (about 5 months into growing) Ebay is becoming a favorite of mine as well. Sure as hell smashes home depot, walmart, and hydro shops. The very FEW things you can even find in those places for a grow. Hell home depot has hps lights... too bad there only like 70 watts, and effing 90 dollars... What a joke. I'm pissed that i bought crap tons of CFL's, wiring crap, etc from there basically just going about it way more difficult, and expensive. Just take for instance the stupidity of them selling about a dozen types of ducting, and shit... yet NOT A SINGLE INLINE FAN FOR THEM!? Seriously, wtf.

our equivalent 'discount hardware' store has 48watt cfl's for $15.90, no holder, ebay 200watt cfl with holder $30, so I got 2, that's 400watt actual cfl for $60 plug and play delivered to my door. My 400w hid and cooltube, tent, scales, fans, filter all off ebay.

I like to support my local shop I must admit, sure the price is often a bit higher, but they are to talk with, often get the prices down a bit if I tell em what it go for online, plus they always seems to trow some freebees in as well, and is there sumthing they don't have they go a long way to get it home for me, and the fact that I get it right away is also nice, with some advice, and the option to go back if its wrong of breaks etc. one bad buy online can easily ruin your savings

most importent for me tho, is that I support em, so they also is in business next year, would hate to only have the option to buy cheap chinese crap online, or see all my fellow kinsmen loose there job`s or close there shops, would really hate to order soil from E-bay

but I guess thats just me, like I don't buy Nestle products, but thats another story

im all for support local businesses, called today only hydro shop in my area doesnt even sell a room deodorizer. can you believe that? nothing, zip nadda, i was shocked.

Buy mom and pop!
You may pay a little more but if it's anything like the hydro store I shop at they treat you right.
Also if you bought a ballast from them and it goes bad they'll give you a loaner until the replacement gets back.Try that on ebay.

Has anyone ordered from us ebay to uk?? 1000w air cooled reflecter and digi ballast for $249....thats peanuts in pounds right??

most uk stores dont carry 1000w, hydro shops are a huge take, ive found there just there to exploit the new grower. £40 for a dwc bucket.....nuff said!

have to watch ebay tho people are stupid make sure you request plain brown box in the buyers note when you checkout i ordered a hydrofarm 250w hps/mh convertible ballest and the fucking morons shipped it in the original box

so all day i had a bright orange and blue box sitting outside that said hydrofarm grow light on the side i don't know how many people saw it sitting out there and i live in a small town so everyone talks

so i emailed the ebayer and gave them a world of shit they gave me 20$ in store credit for it bought headphones and a sog net
