Read up on ISO hash and try that.
You can get 91% ISO from the grocery store for a little over a buck a bottle, and 2 bottles will do quite a bit.
You can use weaker than 91% if you absolutely can't find the 91, but it will take longer to evaporate.

Last time my son came to visit, I had him sit here with my dried and cured sugar leaves and trim, and had gone to the head shop, and got a couple different sizes of replacement screen for the aluminum grinders.
I found one that fit the top of a small glass jar, and after about a half hour, had a good little pile.

Like said I had tried making the ISO & although it turned out good, the "taste" was just like ugh... shit! Lol
I want that nice "gold" looking hash/oil/paste whichever that taste like "honey" or the tree it came from.. ;) that's the good good.. :mrgreen:
I when making the last batch of ISO I used "grain" insted of the ISO. ;) turned out great, except it took longer to dry is all. I sit a little space heater & sit it right infront of the plate the liquid is on to speed the drying! Works pretty good.

I've found the absolute Key to Iso is a fast wash no more then 30 seconds, thats what they call QWISO, or Quick. Wash. ISO. I pull beautiful amber oil with tons of flavor like that. I'm about to try it with grain alcohol for the first time in a few days I'll let you know how I like it compared to the 91-99% Iso I've been using. If you wash any longer then that you start to pull chlorophyll too.

Ive made iso oil before and ive found that the 70% alcohol doesnt work worth a damn. 90 or higher only. And ive never tried the QWISO TC, i usually let it sit for a couple hours or more and i get a dark almost black oil. It tastes really good, kinda like mandrin oranges or "christmas" to me lol. I dont know, whatever ;) but what i was wondering was with the qwiso, whats the yield like for say 10 oz of shake or buddletts? Any idea? The yield off of dry ice extracted hash is really good IMO. Do you think theres a comparison bettween the two?

I don't think there would be any quality comparison between the oil, and dry ice method honestly. I think the oil will be much high quality unless there is tons of impurities I guess. I really want to try the dry ice method to see how I like the end product. I want to try hand pressing it with the frenchy method https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/648510-french-cannoli-hash-thread.html, but according to him dry ice can leave alot of impurities. I'd like to try the dry ice method and then wash that with grain alcohol and filter to make it into an oil/wax/shatter however it turned out.

I've only done this about 4 times, so havn't payed much attention to yield by weight. I meant to last time but forgot to weigh my container before I put the oil in. I ran about a mason jar full of trim, and got several grams for sure, I'm still dabbing on it. I'm still experimenting with techniques and materials but I really like the product. I got told by a friend it was the highest she had been since highschool!

so QWISO is basically take your trim put in jar.. take ur alcohol pour it in the jar, shake it up. drain it thru the coffee filters into the pan.. then put in freezer???

I would say its the same. Don't know 4 sure, but with the ISO that's the way I ran it. I just put all the trim into mason w/ the ISO, shook it, let it sit for an hour or so, the I drained it through a screen I scored from wally worlds. ;) poured it onto a plate with a lip, so it wouldn't spill out all over, then sit it infront of alittle space heater for an hour or so, then scrape it up with a razor balde. ;) toke on.. haha

Hey guys. What's up? Hope everyones doing good. :??: well I know I told you all I was doing an update yesterday eve, I just didn't have time to get round to it. Well, I do believe my "time frame" is up for trying to pollinate these girls! Which really sucks cause when you think about it I will be loosing over 34 strains, and everyone else is loosing out aswell. Shit! This sucks! I really don't know what else to say really. Just super disapointed. I guess now all there would be that I could do will be to let each & everyone spend longer in flowering so that they'll self pollinate. Which is kinda shitty cause that means there going to have seed all in them! The girls in the pictures are the ones I had out this morning. I will be posting more pictures throughout today.

\damn bro, i hope things settle down for you.. sorry to hear bout the moms homie. n the little lady, n ladies ... keep yo head up.. maybe u should go smoke some that stress away :)...
