i had started a few plants around the same time as you an i been watching your thread, iv never seen soo many babies! yours sure are ahead of my little ones must be that seaweed juice? lol'z cant wait to see what happens now that you put them in the ground, me its my first year dipping roots into mother earth i have yet to see what happens 420tycoon said i should have big changes lol i'm hopeful :bigjoint:
 
Hey GM, I noticed in past grows you don't Top your plants? Is this because your strains preform better W/O being topped... or?

Youll see a lot of the more knowledgeable outdoor guys don't use any topping/training methods. This is because in most situations theyve realized topping and training outside just isn't necessary,

In large numbers it likely isn't feasable, I have noticed that it's easier to come bloom if you can't visit as often to build supports, I've lost a few that bent down to the ground and molded. Also, tends to thicken up the stem and strengthen the plant a little more.

iv'e topped them before and with the wind and rain we get on the coast ya are asking for big problems with the branches breaking off the stocks but left alone they will take a gail of wind and i don't worry abouit any of it . out here i'm not sure about the fall weather so i'll play it safe until i know what i'm dealing with
 
033.jpg034.jpg036.jpg037.jpgok we put some hay around the holes to help with moisture seems to work have a bunch here for the chickens so I used alittle haha the females are showing good now and the boy is getting the hill side good and clean lol..
 
This is the first grow-journal I've been following of someone that's made a living doing big outdoor grows. MY GOD it sure looks like a ton of work. I know it's not proper to talk about yields at this scale, or income made, but I sure hope that you're well compensated at the end of the year.

ya it is a lot of work but ya get out what ya put into it so I don't mind and growing is good for the mind no stress or time clocks to punch in all the time you are the boss period lol...

Bet it's easier than growing in Maine though. I'd love to not worry so much about mold in the fall...
