well i got 3 in the 3gals.. but as u see i got two tall bitches that are in like 1.5 2 gal.. the green ones.
I use the "sand buckets" all the way through myself! From vegging to flowering. Hadn't had any issues yet with rootbound plants. Been using them now for around 6 months. Hell I had a 3 & half ' tall girls in one, and she LOVED it honestly. My Dad always told me as long as the plants are getting the correct amount of nutrients, that the roots don't have to "search" all of the containers for the nutes & water, thus eliminating "rootbound" plants. ;)

Had to tie up one of my ones in the small pot.. she is super top heavy. and frosty. got two in there that just started to get some hairs.. they been in there for about 3 weeks now.. there were at slow start but i think there gonna be the best yet.. even though my first chop of 8 plants was some CHRONIC!
.

I need to get me some other strains though.. someone i know is trying to help me out
.. I Think i going to get another 6 bulb t5 to throw in the bottom for my veg it then i would have a total of 12 bulbs. but then again i just might add some cfls

I would do at least 4' if he's gonna do that.
I did 5 footers, thinking it would be plenty, and look at them now.:wall:
I still got a month and half if not more to go of bud development, but at least she's done stretching.June22PK_zpsc13bce7a.jpg

niiice... another thing i am going to do is drill more holes in my pots as well
I like it, I feel it lets more air circulate, and when I water, I can tell if I waited too long.
If the soil is really dry, some water will run out the holes until the soil soaks up some water, then it will quit.
