ak48 stealth grow?

Ok so i happened to find a seed in w/ some medical ak48 i bought, I have grown 1 time before outdoors in soil (way to many pests)
I germinated the seed and planted it in coconut fiber , and have been feeding general hydro mix. To my surprise it is doing great with no pests!
I do not know if it is male or female yet, and it has about 7 or 8 nodes, it does not look to be alternating nodes yet? It is in a smaller pot I guess a 1 gallon pot? Does this plant look to early to flower? I'm not trying to get a TON of product out of it, just some nice clean smoke for myself ( I would be happy w/ 1/4 or 1/2 ounce) I am using cheap flourecent bulbs. Here are some pics .
My main questions are:
Is it far to early to flower this ak48 plant?
Can anyone give me their opinion if it looks to be male or female?
And do I just go straight to 12/12 ? So far since it was a baby seedling I have been doing lights on all the time 24, Thanks!

looks like I may have a male ;[ but then the bushyness of it gives me hope, it is still short, I have never flowered this young, so I am wondering if it is ok to do so?

So I will be putting my lights back on soon, would I be better off with like 13 on and 11 off to start, then gradually make the dark time longer? Or just stick with 12/12 ? thanks.

Hmmm. if I am a little inconsistant with the lights schedule, having to be places, Rarley, but , when this does happen, is it better to have less light time and more dark than normal, or more light time and less dark than normal?
I wonder? for instance last night the lights were on an extra hour and a half till I got home ;[ Just pop the lights back on at the normal time w/ a shorter dark period for that night? Thanks again!

everything was great, but right when I started 12/12 I am getting some curling leaves, and some of them have little yellow tips starting, also the bottom fan leaves were weakened, I just touched a couple to see how weak they are and they fell off ;[,
I don't know if I have overwatered, or maybe I have a nutrient diff, or ph problem ;[ I have been using general hydro, micro,grow,and bloom 3 part nut plus Ive been using floralicious plus nut additive, and a little rapid start for the roots (just transplanted yesterday to a bigger pot) I have been giving a little less nutrients than recommended, so as long as I didn't over water, I am going to try and make up a stronger food mix and see if that helps. I just added some nitrogen yesterday,I'll get pics up in a bit, any advice would be much appreciated.
Also btw No I do not have a ph up/down test kit, It was doing great up until the 12/12 cycle so I didn't bother getting one yet.
o yes and I do NOT have a pest problem at least! I can't find a single pest on or around my plant! (so that is good news anyway)
All this work/trouble and watch me have a male on my hands here ;[] or a dying plant???

Thanks guys but, it's definatly a male ;[ allmost at week 2 of flower and he is male. BUT, say I got a female off my friend and put it in the same room next to my male ak48 , would the female produce me a lil bud and some seeds for next time/times?
Say I got a female chemdawg and mixed it with the male ak48, I would get seeds for a make up strain of the two ak48 x chemdawg?

Are you seeing balls? I couldn't tell by the pics. You will want a pH pen, particularly if you are growing soils (coco coir) since it uses a lower hydro pH. You better off taking the male and sticking him alone(outside?) if you can and just collecting some pollen so you can pollinate a couple of the buds. I have not done any breeding, hopefully someone else can tell you if you can get much usable bud from a fully pollinated plant.

.Those pics are old, he's got balls ;[ This is my only plant, so it is worthless alone. I want to try and see if I can get a female to pop right in there pollinate w/ the male,make seeds and start over mostly,but if I can't i mine as well through him away.

Got myself some random seeds, germinating a couple now! Another question for you helpfull folks= say i pop 1 of them in the same closet as the male ak48 once the seed sprouts ( hoping it's female) Will the "new female" be way to young to be polinated by this older male ak48? Like would the female plant need to be around the same age height ect... ?
Like would the male's pollen sacks just open up and go to waste in the closet next to a small / young female plant? TY again!

So i have some afgan kush seeds, I plan to grow em cause it's one of my favorite strains, what do you guys think of me seperating them, and sexing a male ak48 w/ a female afghan kush? Does this strain allready exist? If not and it works out, I would imagine It would be a heavy indica w/ just a hint of sativa.
Or maybe its a bad idea seeing that I read ak48 is allready a mix of sour diesel and afghan, idk if that is true,but I am feeling creative, Just wondering if ak48 x afghan would work out nice?

That's a bummer mate, was looking a nice healthy plant then the next pics "nightmare" then I got balls oh well all adds up to experience, good luck on your next grow :)

On the age of the male vs female. You should have them flowering at the same time, but it doesn't matter how old they are. If your male is still under flowering light, he will likely shoot his load way before the female is ready, I would suggest collecting the pollen and manually pollinating a handful of buds on your next female. There are a few threads on how to do it, you should look into it if you are interested, you can keep the pollen under appropriate conditions for awhile.

TY for the help/advice guys, I actually turned the ak48 male into a hermie, and seperated it, hoping it will self polinate, and produce me some seeds. But yea I either nute burned it/overwatered it or something, it was doing so good, I think I watered it way to often in the coco I was watering/feeding like every 2 days, I think I soaked him w/ way to much water and nutes? I am starting a new seedling (not sure the strain,but def either pure indica or mostly indica) IDK what to try this time around coco again, or maybe soil. I am starting the seedling off in soil, then I may switch and try coco again, idk, but yes it is a fun learning process anyway! I am getting there, I hope ;]
