Exactly. I hate seeing people get in trouble over a plant, but when you have IEDs an weapons you get what you deserve. I'm not against guns or blowing shit up but fuck man these guys went way overboard.

Rickey Edmund Raleigh, 32, was sentenced Wednesday, June 26, in Flint U.S. District Court by District Judge Mark A. Goldsmith to two years, six months in federal prison for aiding and abetting the possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
Federal authorities claim that Raleigh was a part of a conspiracy that distributed more than 1,000 kilograms of marijuana around the Flint area, according to court records.
Law enforcement officers executed a search warrant on a storage locker unit at Bee Safe Storage, 6363 Lennon Road, and discovered three wardrobe boxes containing marijuana.
Records show authorities discovered 28 bales of marijuana that weighed approximately 322 kilograms.
Raleigh admitted to helping others involved in the conspiracy move the marijuana-filled boxes from houses in Flint to the storage unit.
Goldsmith also sentenced Raleigh to serve four years of supervised release.

Honestly if these guys are STUPID ENOUGH TO HAVE 57K ROUNDS OF AMMO laying around then they are probably dumb enough to try to throw some IED's together too.

Personally I hope the term IED would not be used lightly by LEO. The fact that (25) said devices were seized would lessen the chances of misunderstanding and/or ignorance of LEO as well. Given the slight delay in release of this info makes me think EOD and/or the Feds have confirmed and secured their find.

Just more yellow journalism and support by LEO . I believe they were probably nothing but fireworks and a shit load of ammo that may have just been a possible smart cash investment . I too will never believe a word out of a cops mouth , I was schooled by a retired Flint officer about the corruption , power and egotistical games played by leo well before I started smoking luckily . Not being found at the dispensaries... ya these guys are sensationalizing their find for headlines... last time i give em the benefit of the doubt i suppose. 57k between 3 HOUSES isn't that many. 57k stockpiled at your place of business' thats another story. I can't find ANY info on the IED's, NONE what so ever except a few different numbers on how many found. anyone else find the makeup of these yet?
I was told once by a Lawyer that if Leo's perform a raid on someone and find an old antique musket rusted all to shit stuffed in a locker locked and burried in dust in the attic they are going to tie it to the raid for bargaining chips later on. Possession of a fire arm while in commission of a felony is a nifty charge. 2 years MIN no plea time at all IN FED PRISON (that usually have work programs
) and the 2 years STACKS on to anything else, you can't serve consecutive sentences. I suppose we will see just how much these guys got to fork over for fines and lawyers and that will determine how much time they do..... seems fair doesn't it....
