Day six flower update.

Well i have since clicked to why my little Karragullen is having a hard time. It was always smaller to start but seemed to come back and almost be on par with the two Moby's until two weeks ago, since then growth has halted and i thought is was the downfall of my long time friend!!! But two weeks with NO WATER will do that. Brand new pump failed and i never check the pump nor felt the dry perlite once in till today. Here i was blaming the the strain and again it is all the growers fault!!! New pump now and i was advised by the fella at the hydro shop to only give a few small waters the next few days. This is because if you go pump a mass of water through her dry roots, the plants roots will soak up to much water, swell and burst. Makes sense i have done the same thing to a crop of potatoes, let the soil dry out then given a big water and then come harvest time their all split open. Anyway i hope she pulls through and doesn't come back to haunt me later down the track!

Trail Moby had a nutrient change yesterday, 40ml of A+B and 50ml of Heavy Weight to 50 litres of water. She is more than a metre wide and just hitting the second screen.

P1010841.jpgP1010840.jpg
The dehydrated Karragullen, is going to monstered by the Moby's. Poor little thing! Both the Karra and other Moby also had a nutrient change yesterday, getting 40ml A+B, 50ml Multizyme, 150ml BudLink silica, 50ml Heavy Weight, 10ml Root Excel and 10ml of Amino Treatment to 50 litres of water.

P1010842.jpgP1010844.jpg
The other Moby. She is only a little bit smaller than the trail. There are no real differences in growth between the two of them.

P1010847.jpgP1010846.jpg
One big Shiva and one small Shiva and NO Sugar Haze. I also took six cutting yesterday before i changed the nutrient. Their sitting in covered pots under that bit of shade cloth. Took two from each plant and i checked them today with none wilting, even the karra cuttings to my surprise!!!

It came over for a sniff!

It would easily be 100mm long and 8mm wide. It is still in the same spot today so i will be keeping a close eye on the big bugger.

G'day Easty, I am not to sure what i did to the Haze. It popped through and would of been a little bigger than the little Shiva. It seemed to fine, then i went in yesterday and the stem was brown and it's cotyledons closed up and went yellow. Not sure if the jiffy pot got to wet or what. I planted all 4 seeds at the same time, the big shiva has been up for ages now. It seems to be a very strong seedling, hoping she is a girl thats for sure!

Apart from the little runt in the middle, the grow is going pretty well. I am more than happy with how the two Moby's have filled out and it should make for an interesting finish!!

Oh spewin dude :( ah well, you got some shivas going anyway so they will be awesome! I hope the quick growing one is a girl too hey, my experience is usually the opposite though, my fast growers have turned out bloody male :( sending positive vibes for girls to you bro, would love for you to prove me wrong!!

Awesome stuff chipper those girls have really grown since i've been away, as always man looking great and looking forward to the end, as far as eastcoast goes glad to hear you enjoyed your hash man, i gotta agree on teh trippy shit, when its so strong it puts me in that frame of mind, similar to eating cannabis from what i've experienced, the high is so strong its almost like I'm on the verge of a shroom trip...

Hi all, just a quick update as i have just got back from home after spending three day break with the missus and kids. I didnt get a chance to do any fishing and when i returned i found my grow room had flooded again. My plants are just coming up to day 10 of flower and already both Moby Dick's have blocked the 19mm return lines.
A few pics, I will do a better update tomorrow!

The pics are of the trail Moby, she seems to be doing just fine on the base A+B and Heavy Weight. The other Moby's roots were also in the line.

Shit man i hope every thing is doing alright...
Yeh they seem to be fine, Both Moby's done it to me last time round but a few weeks later(week 4-5). Their roots are even more explosive this time!!! Both bits i pulled from the hose were well over 300mm long(wider than my local paper) and a full 19mm thickness. I have to start checking them from now on:D

Nice roots Chipper. Hope you didn't have a major mess to clean up mate. I can only imagine the growth up top is just as explosive.

Sorry for the lack of updates, once again I has forgotten about my journal. Missus is on holiday so we have been camping with kids. And I have been working on my bream fishing. The three ladies have been on their own for the last 3-4 weeks. But all is going well, after the root blockage. It is now day 25 of flower and they have just been hit with a large dose of Heavy Weight, 10ml/litre. For one week only. My opinion on all the extra additives is also lowering each day, the trail moby is really well. There is no difference in growth at all, and flowering is halfway done!!!

Pictures from both doors. The water starved Karra has come back really, really well. Sitting under the full 1150w of the gravita, she is covered in resin. My battery ran out before i could get some close up's.

The trail Moby, just on the Base A+B and Heavy Weight is really surprising me. Growing equally as well as the other Moby while using 2/3's less product.

Wow man they look great! They'll start to pack on the weight now :D
Thanks Easty, the last 4 weeks have flown by and i have hardly seen my plants. You dont really notice their growth in till you leave them for a week at a time. It is such an easy care system this one of Flowamata's. I haven't even flushed them yet, thats how little i am doing with them!! The only thing i have done is put a small water heater in each tub. Their water was getting mighty cool. I have the water heaters running during the lights off so they have nice warm water to suck up first thing. Other than that all things are good over here;)

Have you made any more Berry Bubble?

Nah mate, used up all the kief doing the last lot :( doesn't matter though, still got the hash i made last time, keeps getting me so whacked I forget where I am hahaha. Scared to try it before having to do anything though, it's definitely an evening thing for me ;)

Flowa's system is ridiculously easy hey, I'm 300% sold on it and will be using it again in the new year! Got my little breeding project started though, put down 20 DJ Short blueberry, 10 Shiva, 10 Mango, 5 Femmed Skunk 1 from Sam the skunk man and 10 Shark Shock from Mr Nice, going to do an open pollination with a blueberry male and then keep clones of the mothers and back cross so they should stabilise somewhat. Just hope I get some good males, 20 is not really top of the pick for beans but fuck spending $150 on another 10 seeds!
