what is it you are looking to do with the dogs whodat? what would be your reason for cloning them, is it like some kind of breeding project or are you just looking to keep your fav cut around?

I want to turn 10 plants into 20+ lol, plus any herm issue the s1 may have (iv heard mixed things) can be cloned out apparently... With my recent herm bout Im not taking chances.

I have to be honest, Last time I grew the dog it was from clone, every one grew nanners and some even major ballsacks. I picked them all off in about the third week. There were still a couple of nanners come harvest but my crop never got seeded. In your setup it could be an issue issue if you don't check them regularly, I remember dat grew one in her scrog waterfarm and she had a nightmare with it growing balls. I know you are a very competent gardener but what I'm basically saying is you need to be very vigilant. The finished product is the best stuff I've ever seen or smoked so worth the extra work.

ive had quite a few different batch's of dog to smoke only never grown her, each has been quite different, but the latest i smoked i really could see why it was entered into the cc cup and made the hightimes strongest strains list, others maybe not but this latest one i smoked most deffo, i did also enjoy the rubber pheno dog.

all 5 of my bluepit seeds i germd have done fine too and quick also, got them potted up.

imo even that last batch i had of dog which was fairly recent and was lovely but the bluepit was nicer.

Well that is promising news mate. Out of 20 I'm sure to get a a cracker then!. I would imagine the bp to have a more pleasant smell and taste as some people can find the dog to be a bit obnoxious lol.

the bp has so many smells thats the thing, one minit your thinking lemony then maybe kushy,fruity or sweet? and its the same with the flavour, i was very impressed and all i grown for a few years is the clone-only origanal cuts which are pretty good themselfs so to thats what i compare too, i just hope i get a similar pheno as i smoked.

The clone only are hard to get away from alright. I keep trying new strains here and there and I love them but i never keep the cheese far away lol.

my blue pit indoors didn't have a smell in flower? but when the bud was dried and broke up, omg it skunk, and smelled up, a 20 feet area! taste was a nice sweet cheese taste, and i know my cheese, thanks to breeders boutique. anyone see 50% off! sale with them

how are everybody's clones doing?, i'm having real probs at the minute with the amount of time they take to root, i think it has to do with the temps being so high, the cubes dry out every couple of days and keeping them wet goes against how i usually work it. i remember taking 50 lemon skunk clones with a pair of scissors and they all rooted within a week. the last batch of jtr clones i took are still in the prop nearly 5 weeks later ( some have 12" roots and some have none)

this is her today mate, looking a bit on the thinner side, but bouncing back after her de-flowering session.

are you gonna flower her or keep her as a mum for the time being?

i'm currently debating whether to flower my jtr mum or not. she is a monster and would be a prime candidate for a 1 plant 1 light scenario, i have had bad experience flowering mothers in the past, they grow all funky. anybody have any good experience flowering mums? i need convincing.


and whodat i didn't mean to scare you, just thought you should know to be extra vigilant when the buds start to form. if it weren't for my dog cuts herm traits i would be doing big things with her now, just too much work involved.

good question ghb, not really sure. I was actually thinking of just flowering her out and pollenating her with the Male Blue Pit to get stock for the cup. One of the boys over here is going to do a full room for the Cup so seriously considering it as an Entry for this year. (so need stock tout suite!)

who is doing the bp grow for the cup, is it a riu grower or someone who is a bit more cautious? lol.

don't know why you bother entering that cup, it's decided who will win about a month before hand. if it were a level playing field you might have a chance.

It's a non riu'er

It's all about exposure ghb. The fact that we got an article in the High Times naming our entry in the top 20 in the World was worth all the money we spent. A young company only has the customers is serves to back it up, when third (non buying) parties have something to say then that is worth a lot of goodwill to you. I think we'll be trying for a Coffeeshop entry as well as a s33d company entries. The coffeeshop entries are definitely fixed, but that's down to who spends the most. When you spend money with HTimes, you get Passes. If the passes are Judges passes then you get instant votes.
