Yeah, but scrog a toothpick and add 400w more cfl's and you get a blunt that is much more my size.

Alright, whatever dude. I know what its like to be a newb and not have any idea what the hell is going on. I give out as much info as I can to help out as many people as I can.
Not to mention, I'm known as the miracle worker in my circles, and a master of anything, ya know why? BC I learn my fucking ass off and ignore assholes like you before scratching my head twice and realizing I don't have anything better to do so i shoot a retort.
You see that? That's one plant, and its the very first seed I've ever stuck into dirt. All I have is a 400w metal halide right now, but Tuesday I'm picking up a galaxy sun select system (with a turbo setting, beyotch) and a 1000w hortilux bulb. Maybe I'll run it at 1100? Maybe I'll run it at 600? Who knows, its unpredictable like that.
Come back and see me in 8 weeks and 3 days and let's chat.

Yeah more lights would be good but op probably knows this and there is a way to say things without making people feel about an inch tall. But I suppose we all didn't start with a huge budget and mad pro skills and come on riu, post not one picture of ones own grow yet criticise others grows.

I agree but there's normally a reason people start with low wattage cfl's and its not because they know they will get a tiny yield.

Yeah, well "knowing books" is translating into healthy plants. And I've not learned everything on my own, I asked questions and have been given tons of great advice, and I try to pass it on.
To the OP, there are two things that will affect not only the size of your buds, but also the density, and those are light and air. Even inside a house there are decent co2 levels; if you could get some ventilation going with an intake of fresh air somehow it will help later on, but light will affect the bud size/weight more than anything. You can throw nutrients at it all day long but without enough light you can wind up with stringy, airy buds which is what happens a lot with newbs in cfl grows. If you can throw more wattage with more CFLs in there it will definitely help. If you use CFL's all the way through harvest then best case scenario you have a light at each cola, or top bud. You want the flowers to get the light then, don't worry about the leaves as much in that stage. Its hard to get enough light with CFLs.
Having said that, it can be done. I saw one guys picture and he had one plant with like 6 main buds at the top/around the plant, and he had a cfl right on the tip of each one and it looked AMAZING. You would never tell it was a cfl grown plant.

And don't fuck with critical, that newb grows some of the dankest shit I've ever seen. Not to mention has some of the fastest growth, too.

Those plants have 68 chloroplasts if you added them all up. Theyre tiny. They need the proper water and feed schedule, LIGHT, and air flow....air flow is automatic and should never be an issue. The other two factors will make it worth while or a waste.

That's why I said AN INTAKE WILL HELP LATER ON. Yeah, his plants might be tiny but if they stay in a well sealed closet when they flower they'll need air.
