The Grape Ape I had grew big fluffy flowers that were royal purple. I wanted to post a photo but cant do it mobile.
I think Dark heart uses substandard genetics. They get away with it because they do make the healthiest clones I've ever seen. But they could do a lot better selective strains.Update for clones at Elemental in San Jose, I went with DHN Cherry Pie, Alien Og, and Grape Ape. They all seem like they're legit. The AOG is by far the beast of the garden!!! Props to DK for the heads up on that one! Even bigger props for the info you provided for treating the babies!! I don't want to jinx it, but after 48 days my shit has never been so healthy! Is it just me or does the Grape Ape just grow small nugs? Smallest buds I've ever grown before. The cherry pie through a few balls under the trellis. But the flowers look really nice.
I've heard some of their stuff is top notch but some of their stuff isnt all that great depending on the strain. So, I would definitely agree with you there.I think Dark heart uses substandard genetics. They get away with it because they do make the healthiest clones I've ever seen. Haven't smoked it yet, but Alien og is looking pretty dank and is gonna be a HUGE YIELDER!!!Everyone and club is dry of clones right now in sonoma. I am going to have to a trip to the bay.
From harborside I'm thinking maybe Whitefirealien, GrandAK(I love good AK), or Deadhead(how's the yield???).
And elemental has blackwater. I know that dan isn't a fan of blackwater, but I would give it another try.
I'm have to do a short veg for these so I need a good yielder. Any thoughts from the bay area clone experts??
Huge yielder IF you let it go the full 9 weeks. Don't be fooled by the hairs turning color at week 7-8, it's not done yet. If you let it go the full 9, the yield will be massive and it will test high. Highest yielding OG if done right. Really lacking in flavor and even though it tests high, potency feels about average when you smoke it. Weird strain.Haven't smoked it yet, but Alien og is looking pretty dank and is gonna be a HUGE YIELDER!!!
Deadhead yields and I like the taste. Anything with fire OG in it is bullshit IMO, but lots of people disagree. No info on the GrandAK. And I think I've made my opinion of blackwater known. Don't bother IMO. Cool name, shitty bud.Everyone and club is dry of clones right now in sonoma. I am going to have to a trip to the bay.

I can't deal with the yields or veg time needed for an OG right now. I have moms but they are recovering/unhealth and I don't want to take cuts. I have Holy grail, Kandy kush, and SFV...also cookies, tahoe and fire(which is my favorite smoke, and not raskals). I got OG's covered...haha. I want a good yielding and quality strain. Blue dream was perfect but I quit growing that a years ago cause no one wants it cause it is everywhere. Basically a different/new blue dream is what I want. I was thinking of even just going kens cut just cause I know it is good and if done right it is always an attention getter.Deadhead yields and I like the taste. I still think SFV OG is a great one to grow. I know that's not a very original thought, but it's true. SFV is fucking awesome.
I've noticed harborside has Ghost OG. That really peaks my curiosity. I may gamble on that one myself. I'll put JV-86 in that same catagory. Never seen the buds, but it sounds like a great cross. Harborside has also had Lamb's bread recently. If it's a legit cut, that strain is bad ass. Can't miss for sure. Also Kosher kush is a must have if it's in.
If you're going to go up to Oakland anyways, it's worth going to Oakland Organics. While their clones might not be as pretty looking as harborside's, their genetics are better and you're more likely to get a good strain that no one else has. They have no online menu that I know of and their genetics always change, but it's worth checking out.
I just went to Oakland organics the other day , it nothin special, organicann is way better. They did have a nice looking Urkel cut that I bought, small but healthy, shit was $16 bucks though.I can't deal with the yields or veg time needed for an OG right now. I am a regular at organicann so I wouldn't mind checking out oakland organics.
Get the JV-86 it's a large yielder and smoke is great, very OG type of high.Deadhead yields and I like the taste. Anything with fire OG in it is bullshit IMO, but lots of people disagree. It is that time of year again. Now till july clone prices are outrageous. $15+ for tiny hacked cuts.I just went to Oakland organics the other day , it nothin special, organicann is way better. They did have a nice looking Urkel cut that I bought, small but healthy, shit was $16 bucks though.
Their blueberry diesel is a great yielder with big buds and a strong stone. A friend has been rocking it for a while. They ran grand fire too once but not anymore.Yeah if your looking for MO's clones then Oakland Organics will be your place, they had a shit load of MO clones, I got a few to give them a try.i grab the grand fire, inferno OG and blueberry diesel. They also had a purple platinum OG that I grabbed, a friend of mine had grown it and said it was potent. All the clones were only $12 with the exemption of the Urkel
It's hard to describe but good, more sour than fuel. Not like either of the parents. Yield was decent but it wasn't like an OG or have color so they don't run it. Could have just been the pheno but who knows. How did the Grand Fire do for you? Was she anywhere close to the fire OG in potency??
