Getting into Canada?

just trying to help the guy get into canada considering i live on a boarder town and i get shit on for some auto correct spelling, and freaked out on by you lol
whats funny is I AM chill, you decided however you would correct a simple spelling error created by my phone, lol
lol i just swear a lot doesnt indicate me being mad its a bad habit really

I have went through every Customs checkpoint that there is in Michigan pre 911 and afterwards . It was much more simpler of course before 911 and then most Native American/First Nation people were rarely questioned due to treaty rights , but afterwards even we have been subjected to the bullshit at the border . Random searches and frequent questioning on both sides of the fence .. I think now it depends on where you cross as to the odds of being admitted without issues as even a simple minor criminal record will get you denied
Living on both sides at different times in life allowed me to travel customs checkpoints hundreds of times and only a few times was I ever detained for questioning or searched .. Those stupid x ray scanners coming back from the Sault are really sickening and this is where I was searched once , just my car but damn they combed through it and found a burnt piece of bud but luckily nothing more . I was clean and they found nothing more and let me go , got lucky that time and another as well . The second incident took place at the Windor tunnel . I went through once and back with an ounce of weed in my backpack that I forgot about , never was anything asked of me other than citizenship and reason for travel ..

slumdog, I would cross in Windsor at either the tunnel or bridge. The Detroit/Windsor border is the busiest border crossing in North America, and that is a good thing in your case. Being a Canuck living in America I have crossed hundreds of times, and my experiences have been much worse at the less busy border crossings as they apparently have nothing better to do than to fuck with people. I have never once been harassed at either of the Detroit/Windsor borders.
Just bring your passport, turn your radio off and take your shades off when you pull up .... and be polite. They will run your plate #. Not positive if they will let you cross due to your felony, but imo you stand the best chances crossing in the D ..... and you won't have to drive way out of your way to find out.
