Vincent Bugliosi: "prosecution of George Bush"

Here is a small excerpt from the Book. Excelent taste, exlemplary subject matter, and a first of many to come, I hope. Finally someone with balls big enough to go after this criminal:

Perhaps the most amazing thing to me about the belief of many that George Bush lied to the American public in starting his war with Iraq is that the liberal columnists who have accused him of doing this merely make this point, and then go on to the next paragraph in their columns. Only very infrequently does a columnist add that because of it Bush should be impeached. If the charges are true, of course Bush should have been impeached, convicted, and removed from office. That's almost too self-evident to state. But he deserves much more than impeachment. I mean, in America, we apparently impeach presidents for having consensual sex outside of marriage and trying to cover it up. If we impeach presidents for that, then if the president takes the country to war on a lie where thousands of American soldiers die horrible, violent deaths and over 100,000 innocent Iraqi civilians, including women and children, even babies are killed, the punishment obviously has to be much, much more severe. That's just common sense. If Bush were impeached, convicted in the Senate, and removed from office, he'd still be a free man, still be able to wake up in the morning with his cup of coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice and read the morning paper, still travel widely and lead a life of privilege, still belong to his country club and get standing ovations whenever he chose to speak to the Republican faithful. This, for being responsible for over 100,000 horrible deaths?* For anyone interested in true justice, impeachment alone would be a joke for what Bush did.
Let's look at the way some of the leading liberal lights (and, of course, the rest of the entire nation with the exception of those few recommending impeachment) have treated the issue of punishment for Bush's cardinal sins. New York Times columnist Paul Krugman wrote about "the false selling of the Iraq War. We were railroaded into an unnecessary war." Fine, I agree. Now what? Krugman just goes on to the next paragraph. But if Bush falsely railroaded the nation into a war where over 100,000 people died, including 4,000 American soldiers, how can you go on to the next paragraph as if you had been writing that Bush spent the weekend at Camp David with his wife? For doing what Krugman believes Bush did, doesn't Bush have to be punished commensurately in some way? Are there no consequences for committing a crime of colossal proportions?

For those that don't know Vincent B., he is the one that prosecuted the Manson case and 104 others with 100% conviction. He claims to have an Iron clad case against Bush for the murder of the 4,000+++ troops that have died in his war for profit.

Who ever believes Bush did anything right, good, or helpful deserves very good mental treatment.

I cant wait to see what will happen when hes out of the office.
I watched an hour long discussion with Bugliosi. He claims he's got the goods on Bush and he aint quitting untill that asshole ends up in an American court, accused with the murder of 4,000+++ Americans taken to war on a totally fabricated lie.

Can you link/ or show me where you saw the discussion.

I wanna see too!
Do you have satelite TV? I have Direct TV and it was on Link TV channel 375, I believe LINK TV is also on Dish network, I don't know the channel. It wasn't on cable, they've been bought off. The MSM have been absolutely black listing Bugliosi, They are definently bought and paid for.

Many blowhards say that Bush should be impeached. So I ask for what? All I have ever heard is innuendo. No proof. But, I respect Mr. Bugliosi. Hell, I even read his book! If he has the proof, let's see it. Take it before the the House and prosecute the case. I make fun of Dennis the Menace Kucinich, but I would like to see his articles go forward. Let's see what he has; what would happen?

I just hope that it would not turn into a House charade game like the clinton caper did. That dirty SOB should have been booted. Every dem that defended him should have been booted. In fact Mr. Bugliosi should look into charges of treason now for both bubba and butch. Congress should make him a special prosecutor of both these rouge Presidencies.

Uhhh, this thread is not about Bill Clinton. If you are so enthralled with Clinton, start your own thread. Thanks.

i would love to see the guilty in our government, on both sides of the aisle, prosecuted for their various crimes, but all we will ever get is the typical tabloid fare. there is little doubt that baby bush and company are guilty of the usual political blindness in the quest to further their agenda, but which of these political animals is not? if foolishness and half-truths were crimes, then most of our past administrations were criminal. if ignorance and incompetence were punishable offenses, then our capitols would have been turned into prisons long ago.

as usual, we're looking for a scapegoat. we're looking for a few men to take the blame for our failure to react to a bad situation in a rational manner. partisanship and ignorance have turned the current administration into that scapegoat. we could go ahead and blame that group of fools for the failure. we could take a further step and blame congress and the million petty bureaucrats for blithely falling in line to satisfy our nation's thirst for revenge. we could even go so far as to blame the entire nation for going along with an ill conceived agenda and installing such monsters in positions of power. i'm sure our resident rebel would be more than happy to turn the key that locks us all away.

now that we've placed the blame on most every adult in the u.s., maybe we can get on with the running of the country.

Impeachment will be another waste of taxpayers funds.Lets not forget he can be pardoned by the next asshole in his chair.I think the money we would waste should be spent on his prosecution! This isnt charlie he's going after this time. This sicko has the world at his fingertips.Paper missiles,Secret Service loyalties run deep.Lets not forget the fact his father is one of the most elite men in the world and former director of the CIA.I still think the days of no one is above the law are over,But i hope he pays for this one.I hope they all pay!

He's Not talking about impeachment. He knows that is a waste of money. He's talking about civil criminal court indited by a local prosecutor or twenty for the murder of one of their constituents (a soldier, sailer, marine, AF victim). He has a burden of proof that will hold up in court. We can only hope he gets his wish. If he gets one, the whole house of cards will fall.

Geez you are hateful. clinton and dubya are the same nasty beast bred from different mothers.
No, they are not. Bush partied while he created havock and mahem, executed hundreds as governor of Texas, even one retarded dude. Bush has no conscience and claims to be a Christian. Clinton got a few extrmaritial Blowjobs. Big difference. Do I hate Bush, Hell yes. Do I adore Clinton, Hell no, but to compare them is ludicrous. the only comparison would be they were both POTUS.

You are correct. Scapegoating is usually the water-glass half full or half empty situation. But, the addition of Prosecutor Bugliosi brings things to a new level of accountability and credibility. Let's see what he has.

Respectfully, I disagree. The clintons clearly engaged in treason. If bush sent soldiers to war on a pretext and lie, then he too commited treason.

I have spoken with an inside military official. What I just said is a common opinion inside the military. However, no current military or government employee can discuss this matter.

Oh, BTW, for the record, bubba had a retarded guy injected while govenor as well.

I still can't get over the fact that texas executed this guy.
I did some google searching on, I'm 100% shocked!
I know it dosent help Mark robertson now, but his killing was declared unconstitutional after the fact.
In his death, one might say he saved a few lifes.-If any good news could come out of that.
