How much was an oz when you 1st started smoking and what year was it?
For me it was in Phoenix az, around 1969-70 Regular weed went for $10.00 per oz, and I bought a half oz of real panama red, he hit me with a premium price on this so I paid $6.00 for the half oz of weed.:joint:
 
Back in the day when i first started (these prices are crazy)

normal weed and hash were the same price £15/25/45/85 per 8th/quat/half/ounce

Skunk if you could find it and get it would go for £20/£35/£65/£120

Now skunk is quite often 20 all the way, or 20/40/70/130
hash oz = £40
 
1976-77 Dimes were three fingers and ten bucks, Nickles were five. Never hear of the good stuff till later but that was 10 bucks a gram

i bought my first bag when i was 15 for 160 dollars it was a half oz.
(me andmy cousins were tryin to grow shwag seeds from 13 on, we were ghetto broke in LA...)

so i guess 300 - 310 per oz.

Hippie parents grew hundreds of plants every year on the farm I grew up on when I was a kid (I was born in the late '70s) - my brother and I would easily pinch a QP or 3 and never get noticed. I remember them making my old drunk grandpa manicure buds in the fall. They're paranoid now that some of the old 'farmers' up there have gotten popped by back helo's with FLIR down on the corn fields and apple orchards and lost their land. Put us through college, but now they pay like everone else... Maybe I had better return the fav, eh?
 
With hookups...an ounce of just regs cost me about $70...some good shit...some guy had ice...it was like 50 bucks for like 1.4 grams...pretty gay....
 
In NE USA around 1968-70 Mexican was $15 a lid or close to an ounce, $150 a pound. Red Lebanese Hash was $25 a quarter ounce. Columbian came on the scene in the early 70's and that was $35 an ounce.
 
Back in the '80s I used to buy "dime bags" for $10 (easily two fingers worth of bud in a sandwich bag) - I couldn't afford ounces lol
 
25 an Oz for what we thought was good weed in the late 70's. I was to learn in a couple years just how shitty that weed really was.
 
I had some pretty decent hookups in my time so far,

$80 on some decent mids

$240 on some good shit

$320 on some reaally good shit!

It seems pricey,but the quality was damn worth it!Thats the most ive ever paid for an oz at any rate.
