see right now im jus buying things little by little and researching so when the time comes that i have everything i will kno what im dealing with also you think scrog would be a good method for me to use since of height issuesYou don't have that much height so you might want to opt for it so your plants can grow a little taller. There are some fans that you can buy that are very quiet. You will need a fan to exhaust you room anyway.
could i use cfls for the mean while untill i can get my hpsYes SCOG is probably the best technique to control height and ensure even light coverage.
Yeah you could do that they little guys will be just fine under flouros but I would not veg them too long under flouro's to reduce the possibility of stretching.could i use cfls for the mean while untill i can get my hps
what would be a good veg period for me 2weeks?Yeah you could do that they little guys will be just fine under flouros but I would not veg them too long under flouro's to reduce the possibility of stretching.
Depends on the strain ideally you want to flower when you see alternating nodes. You can flower earlier if you have to just remember your plants will double sometimes triple in height during flowering.what would be a good veg period for me 2weeks?
i got some OG Kush seeds i dnt kno strain or anthing jus know the nameDepends on the strain ideally you want to flower when you see alternating nodes. You can flower earlier if you have to just remember your plants will double sometimes triple in height during flowering.
i also got another question what kind meters do i ned have a dwc setup, SUPERNATURAL nutes,Sounds good you will most likely want more than 2 weeks of veg time they are still small at that point. Just judge it according to plant height/maturity and you space constraints.
okay now i kno i have to have ph meter but do really need the tsd meter im kinda on a budget all my moneys goin to lamp and ventalationCheaphydroponics.com has the cheapest prices I have found if anybody finds cheaper let me know! Go with a hanna handheld meter or if you want something that does not need to be calibrated bluelab makes great stuff.
You don't HAVE to but I would highly recommend it! They sell one on this site that is like $30 I think you can always upgrade later if need be.okay now i kno i have to have ph meter but do really need the tsd meter im kinda on a budget all my moneys goin to lamp and ventalation
how nice for you to join ganjagoddess im just goin to have to buy the tsd meter i might i have to hold on opt more time to perpare the way i see it i planted my already germanated seeds i put them into plugs surrounded with clay pelets and put outside until strong root system comes in then transplant into dwc the reason for i anit got my light until most three days so i might move them in when i get my lamp was that a good idea or bad?Unfortionatly for DWC yes you do, if you were going with soil or coco then no.
Yep I've done that before and I agree I prefer a cheap test kit over a pricey ph pen that you have to calibrate. You would be better off getting a $5 ph test kit, and a nice TDS pen.
Heres what you do though!! Go to your local hydro store and tell em you only have $100 and need both a TDS and PH pen.
Tell em you dont even care if its used.
they will most likely take pity and sell you a Milwakee for $45 of each kind.
That what I did years ago and its been working ever since. hahah

But really you should try to get them under 24 hours of light.
Also you probally didnt PH your rockwool to 5.5 did you?
That could hurt em a bit.
How are they looking? any above ground yet?
