"Need to go to war"?

We never had to invade Iraq

And some Fuel air explosives would of taken care of bin laden at the time
US dropped more bombs in tora bora at the end of 2001 than they did in the whole Vietnam war and you still couldn't kill him... What's with the NCA giving stand down orders?

If your public enemy like him, and want to deter people from attacking you... Why not advertise "me and everything i love is a fucking fortress, good luck, fuckers!"
Maybe not the best thing to do, to not stir up, but defiantly, the more intimidating he can make himself, the longer he will live. Personally, if i were him... I would not have stayed in the united states very long after trial, maybe swung by a gun shop or two, a mc donalds, grabbed the family and left for the airport.

In some instances, exile is the only way to avoid an untimely death.

I was just jerkin' your chain. Although, I am a bit of a firearms snob.
I understand. I just don't need to spend extra. I'm happy with mid price, high quality, long life weapons. I don't need low price disposables like KelTec. They are literally Saturday night specials.

Nah, I just throw a little more lead downrange and shoot (at) more skeet than the typical enthusiast.

I've recently found out I hang curtains for a living, much to my surprise.

i have a 1911 and a g17. I like them both. If it was muddy and dirty and the shit was flying Id carry my 22. If I absolutely positivly need the guy to go down even if I just wing him, id grab the 1911. Beside a gunmetal blue 1911 looks sweet in profile at dusk.

g17 looks pretty good with the red dot and laser though. hmm its a toss up.

I think ill just go akimbo.

There is not much ballistic difference between the .45 and the .40.

Glock 22 with fifteen rounds in the magazine versus a 1911 with seven rounds in the magazine. No contest, but I realize that is only my opinion. I won't dispute that the 1911 is a beautiful piece of machinery, though, and the Glock is pretty "meh".

i forgot the 22 was a 40. I was never a fan of that caliber. Kind of like the 10mm. I like ammo that will be everywhere when the shtf. 9mm and 45 and 223 will be in any house with a gun. not sure about .40.

Forty caliber is probably more popular and cheaper than .45. Virtually every police force uses forty caliber. I have never fired the 10mm, though I have heard it kicks like a mule. I also own a Glock 17 (9mm), but I prefer the forty cal.

hmm idk about that. People have been shooting and stock piling 45 for a long time. Im not into the gun scene anymore since Im in CA and guns are all but banned here its not worth even having the conversation with the police, so I'm kind of out of the loop. But when I was shooting a lot with other people I can only remember a few 40s. Things must be changing outside the bunker... ;)
was it local cops that went 40 and fbi that went 10mm? Or did they dump the 10mm as a bad idea? I cant rememeber.

FBI adopted the 10mm for a year or two after their big shoot out with some bad guys in Florida where a bunch of their guys were killed/wounded. They dumped the 10mm because the recoil was so harsh that few of them could hit anything with it. They asked industry to make them a bullet with lots of stopping power but not so much recoil and that is why the forty cal came about. FBI dumped the 10mm and adopted the forty cal, and LOTS of police departments followed suit. I would guess that at least 70% of US police departments use the forty cal as their standard pistol. My Glock forty cal and my Glock 9mm are indistinguishable in terms of recoil, at least to me.

I would disagree completely. Compared to the recoil of my Sig 229 40 cal, every 9mm I've shot feels like a 22. I do love the caliber, but it does kick a bit. But then, my 300 WinMag will force grown men to stop after 1-2 shots. I rarely shoot more than 10 before my shoulder says stop.
