Strain with best high yield/short flowering time/high potency ratio?

I am new to growing (but have some experienced assistance) and want to grow some good stuff. I am growing indoors, have a Gorilla grow tent kit on the way, and intend to grow hydroponically. I have two 600 watt hps lights at the moment, and will consider co2 and possibly adding another 1000 watt light. I basically want to know what is the best cash crop strain- for a constant grow operation that will have very high yields, a short flowering time, and also high thc %. I know there are some strains that produce an unbelievable amount, but take too long. I know there are some strains that flower extremely quickly, but don't produce very much or may not be very potent. I am asking what strand has the best flowering time to yield to potency ratio. I am looking to grow high quality, fast flowering, high yielding stuff if possible. Thanks for any input.

First just something I had to correct sorry...its strain not strand... That said your gonna get a ton of opinions but for speed and yeild your looking to go with a indica or mostly indica plant. Now as long as you have good genes the strength then depends on the grower....I would say for what your looking for and you being new and need a forgiving strain you should look at the white family such as White Russian, Great White Shark, White widow or other s in that family. Gigabud yeilds good and is fast but not the highest THC.Romulan is one of the highest THC plants with short flower time but not the heaviest yielder.

You can get all the advice in the world but if it isn't available in your area i.e. Denver area, San Francisco area, Seattle area etc. then good advice won't do you any good. Are you in London? Munich? Atlanta? NY? Do you have access to clones? Will you need to mail order seeds?

Additionally anybody who has a strain with all of the attributes that you seek is most surely not going to tell you about it.

Grow whatever you can get your hands on .. if you find better after that, get rid of the other and then use that..

Very simple formula.. of course the catalyst is GROW~!.. Hurry, don;t waste time.. by the time you figure out what you WANT to grow, you could be pulling in your first harvest..

What are you waiting for.. heh..

lol, I know it is strain. I actually corrected one of those when I first wrote the post, but didn't see the other "strand." I am in Florida, I would mail order seeds if I know what i'm getting will be worth it. I'm not too sure about clones yet, i'm still kind of new to all this, but I do have someone who has had previous experience with growing helping me out, so I am not completely starting from absolutely knowing nothing. I just need to know a good strain to start growing with- a good cash crop. What do you think of Afghan #1, Northern Lights, or Blue Lightning? And what do you guys think of the Gorilla Grow tent kits?

1. You can't trust anything a breeder states about flowering time....... always figure 2-3 weeks longer then posted to be done well.

2. What you are searching for is the "Holy Grail" of weed.....this has been debated on these threads for years and years. It still hasn't been answered to everyone's liking yet.

3. If you go Great White Shark, go with Mr. Nice "Medicine Man". It's the original one.

4. Look at Reserva Privada "OG Kush #18"........

Id go with Grape God. Decent yeilder. strong smoke. really tasty flavor. good high. nice rock solid nugs. and it finishes in 55-65 days. i pulled mine around 56-62 days

i saw that grape god won some prizes in some of the cups recently. i think in the extract department.

how does grape god yield and flowering compare to white widow yield and flowering? I'm under the impression that white widow can yield 500 grams per meter squared and usually flowers at 8 weeks.

There are breeders you can trust 100 percent with their info. Soma Seeds, Mr Nice, Gage Green...

OP Double check your facts whenever you read something, not all you read online is true LOL Grapefruit is a pretty amazing strain if you can find a good line of it... I have Dynamite which is a Grapefruit Bx from Next Generation, it's a 55day finisher decent yield, amazing smell sativa high but not to heavy.

Care to retract that statement? LOL If you look through all the MNS catalog and had to guess which strain of his is the original GWS I betcha 100% of the people would get it right, Shark Shock :) That said you would never guess Medicine Man was White Rhino originally. I'm going to go check my facts and I will eat words and edit if I'm wrong!!

Beginners:
White Widow-or Northern Lights- or -Trainwreck strains.
Put it this way, this question comes up all the time, and in my experiece these are the strains commonly listed as answers to this question.

G13 - average flower at around 60-67 days,,HUGE yields of real good smoke. In fact some one on this site has a journal going of G13 from Dr greenthumb now - anybody got a link? I'll post it if I find it.

IranianG13 - 60-67 days,,another one with HUGE yields of GREAT smoke

I have never had a problem with Dr Greenthumb as far as delivery or quality. The original Ghost cut OG is off the hook good when grown out correctly. But it's long running and not the biggest yields.
