I'm taking my 14 year old niece for a tattoo

My sister's daughter has been having a rough spell with her mom. She has been sneaking out at night, dating older guys, drinking, and I know she smokes bud. We were all that age, and most of us did those things too. They fight like wildcats, but the niece and I have always had a really good relationship. She wants a tattoo really bad, and of course her folks said no way in hell. I figure if I stay on her good side, I can help her navigate her wild years and try to steer her clear of the really bad things. I told her I have to approve of the tattoo since I am going to act like her dad. What do you think she should get, or not; you know, age appropriate?

Probably the word "bitch" but in Chinese characters. She'll probably dig that. Just make sure you pick it off the wall in the tattoo shop. So you know it's correct.

Whoa, if she was my daughter and you did that I might not ever speak to you again. If you are her guardian then you need to be that and not her friend. IMHO.

Make sure you take her to a good reputable tattoo parlor, where they will tell you to "get the hell out, we do not tattoo minors". Then she wont be mad at you, you wont get sued, and a little better chance that you dont get your ass kicked.

For a guy who cries about younger kids always getting what they want without having to work for it, you sure do add to the problem more than try to fix it........................
