like pork......very tasty if they are not "dump" bears.......I made that guy into sausage......How does bear meat taste?
Not a hunting gun but I thought you guy's might appreciate this just the same...look at what I found in the bottom of my duffel bag when I returned from Vietnam. U S ARMY M1911A1 .45......my most trusted friend for over 40 years.............![]()

I can't argue with that. The old .45 hangs on my back porch under my coat. Mostly I carry this stainless S&W mod60 .38 I prefer wad cutters....they punch a nice clean hole all the way thru, like a paper hole punch.......hard to stop the bleeding........if I'm forced to shoot somebody, I want them to know it!........I have several, but I bought or traded for them, none means the same to me as yours does to you doublejj. but to perfex...effective yes, dependable yes, simple no. I went simple for my conceal carry ... a ultra lite , hammerless, snub nose 5 shot .38...just pull the trigger ..no safety .. no nothing, just bang. just my 2 cents ...the 1911s are great weapons but are antiquated. imho sir............. now lets fuss over caliber..lol
LOL!..........I should have said "bear meat is nasty!"......
^^^^^^^^^^^^nice work GWN.
I'm not much of a hunter but Me and my neighbors got a few moose last year.Gotta love the road kill list......Its like cheating
Somebody hit a cow on the Glenn between Eagle River and Anchorage this past week. ...and there wasn't even any snow/ice on the road. This place is crawling with the worst, most aggressive drivers I've ever seen.
