SC you keep the extra top growth. But hell I know you are far more experienced in training than I am...
This grow is my first attempt at SC. and it worked VERY well on my Blue Dream mother. lol

More experienced doesn't mean better at. Your blue dream was supercropped perfectly. I don't think it could have been done any better.
The only thing that's stopping me is that the main stalk is way too strong now. If i push it with my finger, the whole plant goes with it.

I started her at 18" tall thanks to SOMEBEECH...
I was worried about height and know topping does nothing but slow upper growth for a day. lol......
He mentioned LST and SC and gave me a link and i haven't looked back.....
I still tie some down after the crimp. but only if i don't pop the stem enough.

It could be cleaner. but it should produce a hefty yield in a few months.

I've cropped at around 18" inches before, but when they get up to that height, it's usually only the sativa/sativa dominant strains that are able to be SC'ed at that point because the indica doms stems are just too hard to snap without breaking the plant at its base... What to do.. what to do...

Well, from personal experience, I know that if the stalk is too hard you can break the plant..

Happens to me all the time. Especially if I try to crimp the BD anymore than i have.
Her stems got so hard. she snaps when i try to bend.
My finger strength is weak i guess. I haven't been near a college campus in a while. HAHA

The only other thing i did to the BD was clone. but i used tops for my clones since i was making so many more tops each week.

I took more than 20 tops off her. and now she's got so many without looking hacked to shit.

She just looks like i have been crimping and crimping and crimping over and over till she got this size.

You'd have to search really hard to find the spots where the cuts were. I did a great job keeping it clean and barely noticeable.


I've seen some Hacked mothers before and they never flower good.
I didn't want that.

The only other thing i did to the BD was clone. but i used tops for my clones since i was making so many more tops each week.

I took more than 20 tops off her. and now she's got so many without looking hacked to shit.

She just looks like i have been crimping and crimping and crimping over and over till she got this size.

You'd have to search really hard to find the spots where the cuts were. I did a great job keeping it clean and barely noticeable.

I didn't want that.

because usually you have 2-3 sets of leaves up in there hiding it.

I've tried using that picture as a guide, but always ended up topping it or just cutting the leaves.

Tie her down. all out(towards the outside of the pot) but adjustable. and drop more and more her daily. she'll give.

My BD topped her once and pruned her some now she has about 8 tops and shes stretched a bit that I think when I start giving her full nutes next week ill have to flower her the week after because shes getting tall and stretchy
